Great Value Stay with Comfort and Cleanliness

"I recently stayed at this budget hotel and was so impressed that I ended up staying an extra night! The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, thanks to the high-end Hypnos mattress—super supportive and perfect for a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was another highlight: a piping hot shower with excellent pressure, plus some lovely soaps that added a nice touch of luxury. However, I did run into a small issue: the hand soap wasn’t refilled after it ran out on the first night, even though I had daily housekeeping. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but it was a little surprising given the otherwise great attention to detail. The only other downside was the brown, dated decor, which feels like it could use a refresh. It's a bit stuck in the past, but honestly, that didn’t impact my stay much at all. Overall, the hotel offers incredible value for money, and I’ll definitely be back! "

"This property is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.Our family of 14 ranging from 13 to 67 were all very impressed with everything. The house is well equipped with everything you would need, just a lovely home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely house to other family and friends, in fact we have already given details to friends who wanted to know where we stayed.We parked 5 cars easily on the driveway and as it’s just a short walk away from the harbour and the many pubs and restaurants they stayed on the drive most of the time.Plenty of information leaflets on local attractions in the hallway.Jude was an excellent host, replying to our messages promptly. Nothing was too much trouble for her.We will be back as soon as we get chance.*****"

Wonderful Misty Cottage

"We had an amazing week at Misty Cottage over the Christmas week. The cottage was fully equipped and gave 3 generations the space that was needed. The bedroom off the kitchen was perfect for nanny who often wakes early and needs a cuppa and the double and twin rooms on the top floor felt like a little private flat. All rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. What stands out for us is the location. With Whitby town and the beach on your doorstep it was perfect for our dog walks and exploring Whitby itself. We had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to returning to Whitby to explore some more."

The best place I have been to in UK

"This is the best place that ever stay not only in England but UK. Clean, qyeut and everything in good condition. Close to coast and 13 min walk or you can catch bus (bus stop 1 min away) to centre. Small fridge was provided which helps if you want to keep some fruits or jogurt. Everything thing worked perfectly. Shower, TV, kettle. Found nice book with all informations that I needed for my stay but also few recommended restaurants and places to see. Highly recommend to stay. Thank you. "

Lovely one night stop over

"The location was close to the harbour area and the room was lovely. The only downside was that the room was on the second floor of an old Victorian 3 storey house and the stairs were a feat in themselves. Also the parking was difficult to sort out as we had to drive to the tourist information building in the town down by the harbour. Once sorted, parking outside the property was easy. The main reception area was welcoming and had lots of complimentary breakfast cereals and hot drinks available. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls dotted along the staircase in case you needed them. We only spent one night there but the heating was amazing, so much so we had to turn it down. The bed was comfortable and had a lovely winter duvet which kept us warm all night! Overall, I’d definitely stay there again as the on call staff were amazing and highly responsive to our queries. "
