Hey there, reader! Appreciate you stopping by—I’m Nick Fagen, a writer, storyteller, and professional overthinker who’s been putting words to paper since Kindergarten and somehow hasn’t stopped.

 

By day, I’m the Head of Storytelling & Marketing at LW&CO, helping brands and nonprofits craft messaging that actually connects with people. By night (or honestly, all hours of the day), I’m writing, creating, and finding new ways to tell stories—whether that’s through marketing, social media, creative writing, or just geeking out over movies, TV, and pop culture.

I started this blog in April 2021 after years of hesitation and a whole lot of nudging from friends and family. I wanted a space to write about the things that actually matter—mental health, nostalgia, personal growth, heartbreak, change, creativity, and everything in between. The messy, the meaningful, and sometimes, the completely ridiculous. What started as a way to connect with others turned into something bigger—turns out, writing these posts has been just as much for me as it has been for the people who read them.

Somewhere along the way, I also ended up publishing a book.

 

A Moment in Time, my poetry and prose collection, was released in January 2022, with a 2nd Edition & Hardcover later that year. If you’re into honest, raw storytelling with a mix of humor, heart, and hard-hitting truths, it might be for you.

A Few Things You Should Probably Know About Me:

 

• Writing has always been my thing—I’ve been at it since before I even knew what a ‘career’ was.

• Movies, TV, sci-fi, and pop culture? Big-time nerd.

• Baseball, music, and deep conversations? Always in.

• I believe words have power—to inspire, to connect, and to remind us we’re not alone.
