Introduction to Prefabricated Cement Fiberwall Panels
Fiberwall panel quality
We use fortified cement to produce our panels. The concrete surface has a smooth finish without any cracks of flaking, no skimming is needed before applying paint. Three main ingredients together with some proprietary chemical additives are used to create our unique product.
TYPE I PORTLAND CEMENT
The Fiberwall Panels are made with the highest quality Type I Portland Cement sourced from the best Thai cement manufacturers. This ensures excellent strength and durability.
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS)
The Fiberwall Panels consists of a lightweight aggregated cement core with EPS. This ultra-lightweight material reduces the weight of the cement core while maintaining excellent heat and sound insulation.
FIBERGLASS
Fiberglass fibers are infused into the Fiberwall Panels increasing permeability and improving the strength of the concrete.
Lightweight
Our special mixture creates lighter panels that are easier to handle and transport. Fiberwall Panels are an environmentally friendly and lightweight building material that replace traditional methods of wall construction. We produce 3 standard panel types, however we are able to customize panel designs according to your project requirements.
Unique Properties
THERMAL INSULATION
Fiberwalls are good heat insulating panels. Because it is a low thermal conductivity material (K Value = 0.23 W/mk, ASTM C1363-11), which results in the cost of using the air conditioner inside the building to be reduced.
LOW WATER ABSORPTION
Testing according to BS EN 772, Fiberwalls has a moisture absorption of 13.4%, indicating that Fiberwalls can be used in wet or high humidity areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
FIRE RATING
Fiberwalls wall panels have been certified for the strength of the panel structure after being tested for more than 280 minutes according to 476 part 22 standard, an international standard accepted in Thailand, Singapore, Australia and other leading countries around the world.
ACOUSTIC INSULATION
Fiberwalls wall panels have excellent sound absorption ability. Fiberwalls wall panels at 100 mm thick can absorb sound up to STC 43 dB, which is higher than other wall construction materials. Special sound-absorbing walls up to 55 dB for buildings requiring special sound-absorbing walls.
IMPACT RESISTANT
Fiberwalls panels are tested in accordance with BS 5234 by applying a 50 kg weight to the panels continuously. It has the highest level of test results according to the durability standard (Severe Duty).
NON-TOXIC
Fiberwalls do not emit toxic levels that are harmful to residents in the event of a fire. It is certified to BS 6853 and SGLS Cat 041.
Technical Features
HEAVY ANCHORAGE
Using 4 M8 expansion bolts, the Fiberwalls Panel was able to withstand static loading to more than 400 kg. This test was carried out in both AlT and SETSCO testing laboratories in adherence to BSH5234 standards.
This test shows that the Fiberwalls Panel is capable of heavy loads associated with washbasin, air-conditioning compressors, and similar loading, exceeding 5234 standards.
SINGLE POINT LOAD
Using only 1 M8 expansion bolt, the Fiberwalls Panel was able to carry static loads up to 250 kg. This simulates the hanging of large frame paintings, sculptures and similar items.
This demonstrates the excellent strength and durability characteristics of the Fiberwalls Panel.
PULL-OUT LOAD
The test results show that the Fiberwalls Panel was able to maintain up to 250 kg. of pull-out load. According to BS 5234 test procedure, the pull-out load was applied to a single M8 expansion bolt that was fixed into the Fiberwalls Panel.
LATERAL LOAD
The Fiberwalls Panel also displays excellent resistance to lateral load. Lateral load testing shows that the Fiberwalls Panel can sustain more than 300kg. force per meter length of the wall.
Zero residual deflections are observed after the lateral loading. This shows that the Fiberwalls Panel is very resistant to lateral loads such as wind loading for high-rise projects.
DOOR SLAM
A 60 kg. door was installed in a Fiberwalls wall. The door was slammed 100 times.
This physical test simulates heavy load high usage of the door on the wall. A rating of “Severe Duty” was awarded to the Fiberwalls Panel for excellent durability and robustness.
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH
Compressive Strength testing conducted by AIT shows that the Fiberwalls Panel achieves a compressive strength of 5.4 Mpa.
This means that not only is the Fiberwalls Panel durable and strong, but there will also be less breakage, and thus less wasted product during installation, transportation and storage.
