- Synopsis
- Interview is the first film in the trilogy of remakes of films by Theo Van Gogh, the Dutch writer and film director shot dead by an Islamic fundamentalist in 2004. Pierre Peders, a war correspondent of international repute, has toughened up by seeing the worst horrors committed by Man. One day he gets the assignment of interviewing Katya, the most famous American soap opera star. Offended, humilliated, demoted, he gets in touch with Katya to do the job. What he does not know is that, under the glamour, the whims and the luxury surrounding her, there is an intelligent woman, sharp and witty, and carrying hundreds of scars, just like him. A relationship starts developing between them, full of traps, wry criticism, sexual tension and lucid reflections about everything and everybody.
