Hello and welcome to football.london's LIVE Chelsea transfer blog.

Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is reportedly attracting interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with Chelsea, PSG and Liverpool all linked with a move for the Georgia international. Elsewhere, it is said that the Blues are keeping an eye on Nuno Mendes' situation at PSG.

The Portugal international is into the final 18 months of his deal and, as a result, his long-term future in Paris is in doubt. However, it is said that PSG would demand a price tag of around £58m for Mendes, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo is another name to be linked with a move to Chelsea. Reports on Tuesday broke out claiming Manchester United would consider selling the 19-year-old as they look to comply with the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Now, football.london has learned Chelsea are long standing admirers of Mainoo, who enjoyed his breakthrough season at United last year. This season, however, has not been as fantastic thus far for Mainoo, but his talent and potential is undeniable.

While it is simply interest and nothing more at this stage, supporters of Chelsea may have already started dreaming about what life would look like with Mainoo in the squad...

Veiga exit

Wolves have made an approach for Renato Veiga, according to reports.

The player has been out of the side recently despite making a good first impression under Maresca.

It was suggested earlier this week that he might be on the way out after just six months in order to raise cash if a good offer came in.

Chelsea are said to have turned down the enquiry from Wolves, though. The offer was with a potential option to buy after a loan.

Mainoo price

Manchester United have set an inital fee of around £70million for Kobbie Mainoo.

The player is no longer deemed untouchable at Old Trafford, even though they are keen to keep him.

A sizeable bid over the next six months would see United consider a sale, though, as they look to improve their financial position.

Mainoo was left unhappy at a recent contract extension offer made. He still has another two-and-a-half years left to run plus a club option to extend that for another 12 months.

Guehi bid

The Athletic report that a bid of just £40million from Chelsea could get the ball rolling this month.

Palace view him as still being at the £65million point from the summer, if not higher despite his contract only having 18 months left and no move towards a resolution.

However, Chelsea are not prepared to go anywhere near that price and are set to play hard ball for now.

Press conference

Maresca will surely be quizzed on the latest transfers as well as team news before tomorrow's FA Cup third round match against Morecambe.

We'll bring you the best of that press conference here but to follow it all, as it happens, head over to our dedicated live blog with Bobby Vincent at Cobham.

Kvaratskhelia change

Okay, last one on him for a while - or until there's anything else to talk about.

The big change this window from Napoli is that they are actually considering selling him.

That was previously not thought to be the case, and has driven the interest up a notch, seemingly out of nowhere, in Chelsea's case.

It is reported that clubs are now aware that he is available now, even if the preference is for France.

As for Liverpool, the ECHO say that no contact has been made yet, even if interest is definitely there. It is written that a deal this month is highly unlikely given the current attacking options.

Another Casadei bid

Napoli have dropped out of the race, according to Fabrizio Romano, with Torino set to make another bid for the player.

They are ready to add a sell-on clause with Napoli not happy to match the Chelsea terms.

This ends any chance of Casadei being involved in the Kvaratskhelia switch, then!

Kvaratsakhelia boost

Well, it's a boost for Chelsea and it's all about this man this morning.

Fabrice Hawkins says that he is still keen on the PSG move but it's not looking easy.

Unless there is a big sale, PSG are unlikely to be able to afford the £70million-plus to buy him this window.

Talks are ongoing and other clubs - including Chelsea - are in the mix still.

Arsenal in for Araujo

Another team joins the race.

It is claimed that Arsenal are preparing a bid to sign Araujo from Barcelona this month.

Juventus are till in the clear but Arsenal are described as having made contact earlier in the window over Araujo.

He is said to have told his teammates that an exit is on his mind.

Kvaratskhelia preference

After what we just wrote, this comes as a bit of a blow.

David Ornstein suggests that Kvaratskhelia would prefer a move to PSG over Chelsea or other sides.

He apparently told Napoli and PSG over the summer that he was keen on a move.

Napoli could increase their price should a bidding war start, though.

PSG are said to be the only club in direct talks so far with no offers accepted, however, Jacobs has hinted at this being set to change - regarding Chelsea discussions.

New Chilwell destination

This does make some sense.

West Ham are one of the first real teams to be linked with interest in Chilwell this window.

Graham Potter is said to be keen on bringing the player in, although once more his wages make it difficult.

However, an extended 18 month loan has been suggested, Graeme Bailey says.

Potter is described as making a personal plea for Chilwell to owner David Sullivan already.

Kvaratskhelia demand

He has previously opened up on just where he wants to go next.

Having been a player in demand for much of his time at Napoli, Kvaratskhelia has previously stated that he would only leave to join a team in the Champions League.

Kvaratskhelia, Nkunku, Guehi, and Dewsbury-Hall

Here is a quick recap of everything we brought you yesterday:

  • Chelsea plan to turn Mainoo's head over transfer
  • No interest from PSG for Nkunku
  • Williams too expensive for January move
  • Guehi valued at £70million
  • Disasi could leave with Juventus one of the interested clubs
  • Dewsbury-Hall and staff could join Potter at West Ham
  • Chalobah's wages too high for Palace
  • Delap a big one to watch, Blues lead the race
  • Araujo closer to Turin switch

Broja injury

It was another bad moment for the Chelsea striker last night.

He went down after a tackle against Peterborough and needed oxygen and a stretcher on his way to being substituted.

It was an injury to his lower leg. It looked nasty and could see him out for a long time yet again.

Kvaratskhelia price

More on this one, as it's a big story right now.

His reported price would be around £63million from Napoli this winter.

Chelsea and the Italian side certainly have history over transfers in recent times and Cesare Casadei is one of the latest to be in discussions over moving sides.

Kvaratskhelia has scored five times as assisted three in Serie A this season.

Gyokeres agreement

Viktor Gyokeres has agreed, with Sporting CP, that a smaller price will be needed this year.

Having previously been towards £100million, with a reported release clause of around £80million, it is said that the agreement between parties is closer to £60million.

A January move is not expected, but this would certainly help teams to budget for the summer.

Kvaratskhelia talks

So, this one came out yesterday.

We initially reported that it was PSG leading the race but then David Ornstein included Liverpool and Chelsea among the interested clubs.

Dropping a hint over a potential change of plans, Ben Jacobs then suggested that Chelsea plan talks over a move for the player.
