In 1984, Jan Carlsson, founder of Formac, started to manufacture Sweden's first license plate holders with the option to print customer advertisement on it. The sign holder became a success, and thereafter Formac has continued to develop license plate holders for the automotive industry. Much has happened since the first license plate holder from Formac in 1984. Today we have a number of different types of holder for number plates, that fit more or less all cars and motorcycles.

At Formac, we also adapt quickly to the needs of the market, which means that today we have a wide range of holders that fits most occurrences of license plates in the Nordic countries.

Just as back in 1984, we still offer the option to print your unique message on the registration plate holders. Choose a plate holder with fixed ad strip or a plate holder with an interchangeable ad strip. Regardless of which version you prefer, we can print your message on both versions.
