MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Alumni from several schools across the Mid-South are set to square off as the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Philadelphia Eagles:
- Jake Elliott: Placekicker Jake Elliott played three seasons for the University of Memphis Tigers, from 2013 to 2016.
- Kenneth Gainwell: Running back and kickoff returner Kenneth Gainwell played two seasons for the University of Memphis, from 2018 to 2020.
- Bryce Huff: Defensive End Bryce Huff also played for the University of Memphis.
- A.J. Brown: Wide Receiver A.J. Brown played two seasons for Ole Miss, from 2016-2018.
- Nakobe Dean: Linebacker Nakobe Dean played college ball for the University of Georgia, but attended Horn Lake High School in Mississippi.
Kansas City Chiefs:
- Trey Smith: Offensive Lineman Trey Smith is a native of Humboldt, Tennessee, attended University High School in Jackson, and played three years for the University of Tennessee.
- Chris Jones: Defensive Tackle Chris Jones played two years at Mississippi State University, from 2013-2015.
- Cam Jones: Linebacker Cam Jones graduated from St. Benedict at Auburndale in Cordova.
