Welcome to FOX13 - WHBQ-TV

Your Trusted Source for News, Weather, and Community Stories in Memphis.

Since first signing on the air on September 27th, 1953, as WHBQ-TV Channel 13, we have proudly served the Memphis community. Back then, we were owned by Harding College alongside WHBQ radio. Originally, we operated as a CBS affiliate with secondary ABC programming.

In 1994, WHBQ-TV was acquired by News Corporation, the parent company of the Fox network. The following year, in December 1995, we switched our affiliation to become the first and only Memphis station ever to be owned and operated by a major network, FOX. Today, FOX13 is part of Imagicomm Communications, continuing to provide the best in news and entertainment to our viewers.
