A man has died after falling from a multi-storey car park in Camberley. The ambulance service and police rushed to The Atrium car park this morning (Tuesday, October 10).
Surrey Police said they were called by the ambulance service at just before 8am. They said the man, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
"The Atrium car park is currently closed, with no vehicles allowed in or out while our enquiries are carried out," said police. "We anticipate significant disruption until at least midday and advise you to avoid the area where possible.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause. Enquiries to establish what happened are under way, but the death is not thought to be suspicious. If you saw or heard anything that may assist our enquiries, please get in touch quoting CAD 0127 10 OCT."
