I'm wondering whether you change loft depending on how far you need to carry the ball or if you simply use your club of choice and swing harder. Also, it looks like you were using maybe a 56 deg wedge. what loft do you recommend for these shots
Looks more like a short pitch shot than a chip shot. A chip would not fly as far in the air and would roll out more. Maybe splitting hairs here, but, many golfers don't know the difference between the two shots and inter- mingling their names only compounds the confusion.

What is the bounce and the loft of the club your using? Which is better to use and which one would you avoid?
Matt, how can I stop shanking my wedges (56 degree or 60 degree) around the green when chipping. My takeaway is very similar to your set up. Could I be getting my hands through to fast?
Set up with the ball nearer to the toe should help stop shanking the ball
