Sookie is not an empty shell of a character like Bella, and though naive, she actually has a voice, a job, and a life before and during her Vampire liaison.

Not a question about Dead Until Dark, really, but about this author's other books. I loved this entire Sookie series so much, I read and re-read it. (I didn't love the television adaptation.) My question - which other works of Charlaine Harris am I likely to enjoy as much? Thanks!

There are libraries out there so you don't have to make a major financial commitment to try one or more of them out; I urge that method.(less)
