On the Fence
I really like Ms. Avery's writing but it was hard to get into this novella. The characters are okay ... they just don't grab your attention. Too bad because I was really looking for s steamy ride.

He says he isn't a cowboy, he just owns the ranch. It took very few pages in for me to decide this isn't the normal extra rich vs working class book. I was pleased as punch!! After my first "meeting" of Allison, I saw a person I could like and be friends with. Probably not besties since the 20+ year difference is something to consider but she is very likable. I understand that you need a grumpy/bitchy character ever so often but I also like characters that are real. Scarlett Avery has the ability to make the characters real and relatable through her writing.
My first meeting of Jake was one where I couldn't wait to get to know him. Thankfully I was swept away in the story and didn't feel so bad drooling over him. Lol.
You will find one character who will remind you of a known celebrity. I will leave it there and you will have to read the book to figure out who. I really do hope she gets her moment in the sun with an amazing story.
I loved this book and will looking for other books by Scarlett Avery. She has a great ability to pull off the first person writing without making it feel choppy. Big plus for me!! It is a MFM book but don't let it push you away. It is an amazing read and has a great story!

So sexy and o so yummy. I love reading about a girl getting the attention she deserves from someone amazing instead of crap from a loser. I really liked this book so much and hated not getting more of the story I but the entire rest of the series.

I have written this review twice already - but it just needs more. Can't express my feelings here. I am blown away by this one - it is so damned hot. How Scarlett does this time and again completely baffles me.
Bad breakup leaves Allison devastated, homeless and jobless. Friend helps out but then she gets unexpected job in Colorado working for Riley - a woman she has a admired forever. She gets to the ranch and is met by Riley's brother, Jake. Well!!! Jake is a real hotties and makes Ali welcome. To top it off he introduces her to his partner, Hunter. Oh no!!! Another gorgeous stud. Well - they wouldn't be interested in her short and very curvy figure.
Not true - they both flirt a bit but she is so down on herself she just carries on. After a lovely dinner she sits with Jake after Hunter leaves. Jake kisses her and she is lost in him. She's not been kissed like that before.
I'll leave you to read for yourself the rest. Jake and Hunter have talked a lot about what they would like to happen - but how would that go???? This is going to heat you up like never before. Oh lordy, Miss Scarlett - what have you done???? Five huge stars right here.!!!!!!!

The first 65% of the book was so bad it’s good the other end part was just so bad I cringed. I’m sure there are people who talk like that but I’ve never met them, so it had me recoiling because I had to remind myself she was 23 and he was in his mid to late twenties (I don’t actually know how old Jake or Hunter is). The sex near the end had me wanting to run for the hills it was so awkward and cringe worthy. Like after the 65% mark I was like “wtf am I reading?” (Seriously, can someone please explain to me what I just read because it went left field so fast I was left wondering if the characters were being true to themselves or the author really wanted the characters to do what they did. The last part really lowered the star rating for me. I would have given it a 4.5 if the things after the 65% mark did not exist).

OMG!!! This was sooooooo good. I love the fact that Ali held her head up high when she caught her ex having sex with a co-worker of his. Then getting that lucky break to working with a Food TV cook that was looking for an assistant. Starting over was for the best for Ali. And oh what does she see, two HOT GUYS. This was just the book I needed right now. An easy and loveable story with men how are hot so my iPad almost burns up.
I love ménage book, but think there are very few of them who are really good, and have a story to it and not just sex.
This story I loved and cannot wait till the kids are in bed and I can continue with book no two. Hope that the rest of the series will be just as good.

So hot! Allison thought she had lost it all, until her dream job falls in her lap. She can't believe her good fortune, especially when she gets a glimpse of two of the hottest men ever! Now she just has to not make a fool of herself in front of them, because she knows they'd never be interested in her. Or would they?
