The first 65% of the book was so bad it’s good the other end part was just so bad I cringed. I’m sure there are people who talk like that but I’ve never met them, so it had me recoiling because I had to remind myself she was 23 and he was in his mid to late twenties (I don’t actually know how old Jake or Hunter is). The sex near the end had me wanting to run for the hills it was so awkward and cringe worthy. Like after the 65% mark I was like “wtf am I reading?” (Seriously, can someone please explain to me what I just read because it went left field so fast I was left wondering if the characters were being true to themselves or the author really wanted the characters to do what they did. The last part really lowered the star rating for me. I would have given it a 4.5 if the things after the 65% mark did not exist).
