[close] This group is for anyone, readers or authors, who enjoy 18th century American historical fiction. I'm hoping it becomes a place where we can discuss the 18th century in ways that bring our stories to life and make them more enjoyable for the reader.

[close] Discussing the darker aspects of 18th - 21st century literature. If you cannot find a topic you are interested in feel free to create a new thread for discussion. Despite the name we are very inclusive of a wide range of fiction; anything which comes under supernatural, mysterious, or dark in atmosphere is welcome as a book of the month. Rules: I’m sure it doesn’t need to be expressed but we have a zero tolerance for trolling or direct personal attacks in the group. That being said don’t be scared to discuss and dispute ideas. Lack of participation and/or prolonged inactivity on GR will likely result in your membership to the group being discontinued. If you’re still interested in the group don’t worry, you are free to rejoin again.

[close] This is a group for anyone who wants to read the Chunksters (the BIG books like Anna Karenina, War & Peace, Les Miserables, Don Quixote, Infinite Jest, A Suitable Boy, In Search of Lost Time, Jerusalem, Middlemarch, Miss Macintosh My Darling, Ulysses (ok, you get the idea...). We are all about making these fun and easier to read in a group format!
