This group is about stepping out of our comfort zones by picking up and reading things we would not necessarily pick up on our own. This group is not about being right or wrong, its about discussing what you are learning as we go. This group is being moderated by a 44 y/o privileged white woman who now knows better and wants to do better. I am never done learning. I make mistakes. I can be wrong or misinformed, and I am always willing to discuss that.

[close] A book club for those residing in Brighton and Hove (or the wider East Sussex area) for people to find likeminded bookworms in their local area. Feel free to discuss non book related topics too but this is primarily a space for bookworms of Brighton to discuss and share their love of literature :)

[close] A group for readers of all genders who wish to broaden their reading horizons by reading more books by women authors. And more women authors that perhaps people haven't heard of before. We currently run two group reads each month: One monthly group read, each following a different theme (e.g. Classics, Sci-Fi, Translated Fiction, LGBT etc.) with the odd 'Open Choice' month. Our second group read alternates between Non-Fiction books, Women in Translation releases and books that fit our 'Read Around the World' challenge. Rules 1. This is not a women-only group. All genders are welcome, and all should be made to feel welcome. 2.That said, this group is intended to be a safe space. Disagreement is fine but harassment or trolling will not be tolerated. 3.
