I heard a lot about Sophie Anderson's books and the bookclub "A Touch of Whimsy" which I'm a new member of it decided to read this book for February because it's a club that focuses on middle grade literature that I also enjoy.

I made it about 150 pages into this book and just had to acknowledge I wasn't really enjoying it. Middle readers are hit and miss for me (mostly miss), and this one missed. Passing it onto my littles and moving on.
