I haven't read Perfume yet (which I voted for) but can vouch for Breakfast at T's and Handmaid's Tale- both very good. I think Handmaid's Tale probably didnt get a lot of votes because most of us have already read it.

Had I not already read Beowulf, I would have voted for that
stone-cold classic. I debated between voting for Perfume and The Handmaid's Tale and have opted for the former. I may change my vote before the deadline because I ultimately want to read them both (and Breakfast at Tiffany's).
