But oh man was I wrongI wasn't sure that we needed another picture book bio about Sister Corita Kent -- there are two other exceptional ones already. But oh man was I wrong. This book, and it's subject, is a perfect match for Mara Rockliff and especially Melissa Sweet. In fact, I don't think that I've ever seen Melissa Sweet's art make quite so much sense -- in bright oranges, yellows, and pinks, she perfect contextualizes the work of the "pop art nun." Back matter gives further context for the peaceful revolutionary life of Sister Kent. Phenomenal....more
