i pretty much adore everything nicole writes, so it really isn’t a surprise for anyone that i liked this one as well. however, it was quite short and without an epilogue, it made me feel as if i didn’t read the entire book. that’s a shame because i liked the rest quite a lot. ...more

this is absolute perfection. anything else is too little. the characters, the romance, the chemistry, the spice, everything is simply perfect.
actually, there is a bad part. a tragedy, really. this is the last book of the series and i genuinely think i’ll go through withdrawals.
i read an arc and this is my honest opinion...more
i could talk about the actual book and the fact that it’s mildly boring and this sort of supernatural world is pissing me off, however i have a mor2.5
i could talk about the actual book and the fact that it’s mildly boring and this sort of supernatural world is pissing me off, however i have a more important thing to say.
why the hell did the first book have one of the most gorgeous covers i’ve ever seen and the second gets that bland ugly ass hideous cover? does the author hate this one?
also, not really excited for what’s to come....more
i needed quinn’s story so much and i’m so happy i finally got it. the delivery was excellent. but also, i just loved tristan so much????? i actually wi needed quinn’s story so much and i’m so happy i finally got it. the delivery was excellent. but also, i just loved tristan so much????? i actually wanted to hug him all the time.
i honestly loved how much time passed before they got together. they both needed that time and their friendship before starting a relationship.
something that bothered me is that sometimes this author’s characters talk like robots that want to sound like humans, but that might be just me

as someone who doesn’t forgive easily i think i can say that max does deserve forgiveness.
the whole thing is kind of crazy and ott, but it’s cora’s sas someone who doesn’t forgive easily i think i can say that max does deserve forgiveness.
the whole thing is kind of crazy and ott, but it’s cora’s style so i expected it. yes, the straight guy talk is kind of annoying, but have you ever heard one of them talk? it’s pretty on point.
max went through a beautiful journey and i really think it was done well. i liked it a lot.
first of all, i only like this author’s contemporary books. that’s good news, i guess.
somehow the long internal monologues diwell, damn, i’m confused.
first of all, i only like this author’s contemporary books. that’s good news, i guess.
somehow the long internal monologues didn’t bother me here, even though i could’ve done without a lot of them.
all in all, i enjoyed this, both the story and the characters. but that role play at the end??? what was the reason??? i mean, i enjoyed it, but why? and i definitely wouldn’t say this is a christmas book...more
so insanely cute and sweet!!!!! nicole really shines with the friends to lovers trope and there’s always that little sprinkle of angst that scares me eso insanely cute and sweet!!!!! nicole really shines with the friends to lovers trope and there’s always that little sprinkle of angst that scares me even though i perfectly know this has a hea. it made me hate maverick a little bit but it’s fine i forgave him. i’m really curious about the next one!!!

i’m in my feral squirrel era again (it’s weird that it’s happened twice) so don’t take any of my words seriously.
first of all, this author’s writing fi’m in my feral squirrel era again (it’s weird that it’s happened twice) so don’t take any of my words seriously.
first of all, this author’s writing feels like winter sun. there’s nothing better than those rays on a cold day, i’m glad that we all agree.
callum is a smart little cutie pie cinnamon roll who deserves to be protected at all costs and i’m quite pleased by the fact that oliver did exactly that. it’s so nice when the mcs actually deserve each other (in a very positive way). great great great work of showing and not just telling, in every aspect of the book.
the romance!!! you guys the romance!!!! that’s what it made me a rabid squirrel and god i’m so happy!!! truly an amazing love story, i could actually feel their love. i was actually worried because yes i know this has a HEA but the thought of either of them suffering made me sick. (also yes i’m completely aware that none of it could happen irl but it’s fiction it’s FINE)
also, the plot. i’m not going to spoiler anything but i’m either extremely dumb or you definitely won’t expect some things. (but i am fairly dumb so… yeah, we’ll see)
i can’t believe i loved a slow burn. a very long slow burn. is mercury in gatorade or something? (this is to prepare you to the massive amount of bad jokes in the book, but as you can see i love bad jokes so idc)

if you put all together in a blender miscommunications, 20 years of hiding the truth, ghosting, time jumps, hardly any plot, hardly any spice,oh, boy.
if you put all together in a blender miscommunications, 20 years of hiding the truth, ghosting, time jumps, hardly any plot, hardly any spice, a questionable fake relationship and miscommunication again because it was too much, what do you get? a terrible smoothie.
i could, theoretically, expand my thoughts on those issues, but my blood pressure is already too high and i don’t like to waste time. i feel like this book was one big joke. maybe a halloween one? i can see people being frightened by this.
but i do have to admit there was one really good joke, i haven’t laughed this hard in weeks. the bodyguard crying nearly killed me. dude, change career....more
this is a cute story. i’m not sure it can be believable, as everything happened really fast. the pacing was the main problem, the beginning and the endthis is a cute story. i’m not sure it can be believable, as everything happened really fast. the pacing was the main problem, the beginning and the end were definitely too rushed and could’ve used some more time, while the middle was quite boring and uneventful.
overall i enjoyed it so i have to give this 3 stars, however i expect something completely different and this left me somewhat disappointed. so let’s say the rating it’s somewhere between 2.5 and 3....more
alright, this is hard. i honestly loved the beginning. i loved how the author introduced the characters, their interactions were hilarious and super inalright, this is hard. i honestly loved the beginning. i loved how the author introduced the characters, their interactions were hilarious and super interesting, and i was actually invested in their story and their lives in general.

i can’t help but feel like rowan is the actual main character. it should be tink, i mean, it’s literally the title, but i feel like rowan was at the center of everything. that made me enjoy it less.
i also didn’t really like the start of the polycule. i guess it’s not my thing and that’s a shame because if this started as a throuple right away i would’ve loved this.
after they became a throuple i liked the relationship more but without the tension i was getting a tiny bit bored. it’s a long book and i’m not sure all of it is necessary to the story. there is, as you can imagine, a lot of sex, and damn, it’s always welcome, but at times it felt more like instructions on how to have sex rather than smut. you know, it’s good that the author doesn’t think that you can shove whatever up your ass without prep, but we probably didn’t need all of that.
all in all, it’s a good book, even with those issues, and i will definitely reread it in the future. i can’t wait for the next one....more
