It deals with some history of the Haida and the European explorers and colonizers in the Pacific NW. The art is quite nice to look at, and the idea is interesting: each page is a section of the mural with text added. The story is a bit hard to follow at times. Maybe intentionally.
The artist says of the mural: “You look at it, and there’s so much going on. You know there’s a story there. But it’s difficult to read. And that’s intentional.”
