The contest between Seth and Horus seems to be finished and Horus has won. Sekhmet shows up with a huge does of crazy.
The artwork is amazing here. It's so epic in scope and so mythic. I love the use of Egyptian mythology in the story. It really works. A Korean is setting his story among the Egyptian Gods.
The end piece of this volume was revealing and I'm not exactly sure what is going on. Seth tries to humiliate Horus and someone Horus turns the tables on him. Then Osiris shows up somehow. I'm not sure what was going on, but it was big and I get a gist of what is happening. Maybe more will be explained later and the author left us with questions on purpose. I'm not sure. I don't know how Osiris shows up. It might be something Sekhmet does.
The pace is quick and Mojito, the author, expects the reader to fill in a lot of blanks on their own. It does seem that Horus has a crush or something on Seth. It wasn't explained. We also find out a weakness for Seth. Seth killed some of his followers which is the worst thing a god can do.

This is a Japanese romance with working adults. That's nice. I really like the main characters of Minato and Shizuma. They are so well balanced and feel real. The artwork is great. Each character is distinguishable. That's very cool. Most of they time all the other characters besides the main two look alike.
Minato is looking for Shizuma after he told him to get lost. He goes to all his friends and Shizuma's ex can still get into his phone. She's a very tricky one. Shizuma is in Minato's home town where we find Minato's backstory and his painful childhood. They spend a night in Minato's childhood home and all the memories come out.
Later, the two go to an amusement park together. These two have a lot to work out, but what I like is they do eventually talk to each other. It takes some pulling, but they talk. I find it sort of a healthy relationship for once.
There are also sugar moments in here. I appreciate that. I thought this was a good story. I will have to go on with the story....more

A new character, Kasai is a new reporter in the pool and he has been partnered with Kabu. At first Onoe like being a senpai until Kasai declares they are rivals and he feels like he isn't as good as the new guy. Kabu and Onoe hardly spend any time together. It's sort of frustrating.
The show only had material from Vol 1-2 so this is all new for me. This had good drama and it was well done. I'm looking forward to the next volume. I'm ready for them to move in together already....more

This was sweet and cute with lots of sugar moments. This is one of those slow burn angst stories. Will they, won't they. There is a kiss in the end bonus matrial, so it's all about the angst.
The Characters are well thought out and run as their own self-determined character. This is pretty melon collie. The two friends have been in the same class for six years now and this year, they have a different class and they aren't together. Both of them don't know how to deal with it and they miss the other. Lots of misunderstandings and figuring out the self. ...more

We see the after effects of their first live show. People loved that song and the audience took notice. Now they need to write a few more songs. We also see more about the politics of the band. We have a flashback on how the band came together.
Haruki is basically the one who brought them all together. He has a massive crush and unrequited love for Akihiko. Akihiko is the playboy. I can't figure out if Akihiko knows aobut Haruki's crush or not. There seems to be nods that he does.
Uenoyama realizes he kissed Mafuyu and he's in love. It's so awkward between them. Still, they confess their love. What does Uenoyama do? He asks permission of the band to date. It's so cute. Lots of sugar moments.
Basically, the band is gay, or at least one of them is bi. I mean this is totally BL. The author is going there.
This story rocks and I can't wait for the next volume. I want to own this one. It's so good. It looks like there is going to be much more drama ahead.

They broke up at the end of last volume. They still dance and practice together, but they aren't together. There were sparks flying but both of them are being stubborn. There were lots of new characters introduced here.
They get sponsors and they are going on to win dancing competitions. All their work is paying off now. Still, they won't let themselves be with each other. The volume was sort of all over the place. I can't believe it went a whole volume and things are patched up yet. really?
I don't want an on again/off again story, or will they/won't they. Not my speed. I'm losing some interest in this. There is one more volume before we have to wait for more. I'll see if it's worth going on. ...more

His wife divorced him early after his kid was born. The kid didn't seem him much. He was sort of a bod boy looking type. Then, the mother died leaving the kid with the dad. The kid doesn't really feel like it's his dad. Both of them are sad.
Hitsuji is a teacher. The son is in his class. He sees the kid is struggling and he does a student visit at home. He sees the mess of a house and he ends up cooking and helping them clean. They just sort of become friends. The dad needs some help.
Hitsuji doesn't recognize him, but he used to have a crush on Hatoyama in high school. Now, all those feelings he thought were resolved are coming back up in new ways.
There were some sugar moments in here. They make it to the first kiss in this volume. Another refreshing thing. It's like Hitsuji bring them all together as a family and everyone starts thriving again.
I enjoyed this and will pick up vol. 2 soon....more

I'm loving this series. This is a bit slower than the beginning and it has so much room to go, but the end of this manga hit the high note! It was awesome. I was jumping up and fist pumping the air.
So, our main character Uenoyama realizes that he likes Mufuyu. They didn't drag it out, thank goodness. We had some time in school and that was sort of boring. Stuff with the band is great. We also got some backstory about Mufuyu and his last love that died. They were childhood sweethearts and his heart is still so sore.
The band knows about these two and they are cool with it, so good band. They are also working up to their first concert with Mufuyu as lead singer. Everyone is sort of nervous.

The politics ratcheted up a level and holy crow, what a cliff hanger. I mean really.
Adam and the Lord had some sugar moments together. They are cute. There is even a little love story of King Chris with someone his age and it's also cute in an innocent way.
We see the villains and oh, they are so villainous. Maddening. The art continues to be great. It's easy to follow and the story is now much more fun.
I can't wait for the next volume so I can find out what happened. It seems no one was ready for what went down and it looks sort of bleak. I can't tell who is really on who's side. Plus, Lord Montegue is mellowing out a touch and he's much more fun that way. ...more

Shin and Shige are doing well in their new apartment. Work is going well. There is a little bit of jealousy. Their characters have some kissing scenes and it creates some good jealousy.
The spicy aspects of the story are awesome. This is a good balance of story and bedroom. The are plenty of sharks circling the couple though. A new villain was introduced in the president of the TV studio. It doesn't look good.
The story ends with the two ending up on the same set. They are going to film together. I love that! I was wanting them to end up together. If you ask me, they should film a danmei or Yaoi together. That would be so meta. It would complicate things too much. Too many people know about them and I'm waiting for it to leak. Something has to give soon. I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE! It's very confusing. Goodreads was good to help understand what's going on. So this is Four Seasons, which is late in the series. It's actually Vol 6, but renumbered. This Japanese story is about two college graduates working their jobs. One of them has hearing loss. So, this is corporate Japan.
There is a whole thing about an junior high ex girlfriend and her stalker. That's really holding a torch for someone. Falling for them a few weeks in junior high and you can't get over them. That's some unrequited love there.
There were a lot of side characters and that's where I was lost. I had no idea what was going on with them and who they were. That was confusing. I wish it was numbered better.
A decent story. I'm going to try and start at the beginning and see what that gets me....more

It seems like any other friendship at first. The two go out for things that teens do to reinvigorate them. They get cupcakes at a cupcake place or go work out together. Before they know it, they both are feeling younger and better. Now, they notice they feel more than just friendship.
Of course at work, people want to set both of them up with different people. The relationship is very cute with some sugar in it. Cute moments, but most of those happen at the end.
Good artwork as well. The characters looked very distinct and you could follow what people were saying. Well done....more

I know it's very important to the story and as a first time reader, we really start to understand what is going on and the complexity of the story going on. It's wonderful. This is my favorite story of all time, so I suppose I could give all these volume 5 stars, but to me this is more set-up.
I love the part with the headband last volume. This volume, Wei Wuxian finds out what that means. That was great. I love that here, we see Wei WuXian tell Jin Ling that he is interested totally in Lan Zhan. A great admission.
The whole head part, Qin Su, it's all find parts of the story. They aren't my favorite parts. The story doesn't work without them, and they are needed, but not my favorite part. We are pulling the story apart alot here.

This seems to be the final book, although there could be more if the author wanted. It's a great relationship story. We get to see how their relationship works, which I love.
The story is well paced to start with. We have set-up and then the complication and wow, the end feels like it wraps up quick with a nice tidy bow. It's just a little too quick and tidy. I'm not sure it would have worked that way.
Kei almost quit work. Have the two of them been found out? What a wonderful bath scene with ice cream as well. Ushio is having a rough time with his father. Both wants the best for the other and makes decisions for them without asking, which drives me crazy, but it sort of happens to people.
One of my most hated tropes is in here. Amnesia. It's so overused. I tried to look how many people actually suffer from it and I couldn't find a number. They say that short term memory is more often affected from it, which authors never use that part of it. How the amnesia ended was silly and cute. I really hate that trope. so. much.

We pick up from the last volume. The Black Cat Pirates had the crew on the run and it looked like Khaladore was going to win. The fight goes sour quickly. Usopp has his pirate crew and it's Carrot, pepper and salt I think. They are funny. I liked them and they are only in the Manga.
Several big things happened in this volume. Luffy finally got his ship and they came up with the pirate flag they sail.
We end with them getting to the restaurant Baratie(sp).
I thought it was an action packed volume. There were funny moments and the action was silly and fun. We have some back stories and we see how Khaladore faked his death. I'm glad I'm reading this.
The story diverges more and more from the show. I saw the show first and I think it's better refined, but this is good too. They simplified things. Zoro is so different in the Manga than the show. Amazing. ...more

Kunieda Kei and Tsuzuki Ushio are both working and their lives are busy. They are now in a relationship that works for them. There is still stress. Kunieda has a network competing with his show and he is now on assignment all the time and super busy. He finds himself being more and more dependent on Ushio for emotional support through his work.
There is a great arc where Kei is on vacation for the summer and Ushio is off at a spa with friends somewhere and Kei follows him like a stalker out there. I love it.
The relationship is set and we get to see the ups and downs of a relationship and how you have to work with each other and talk with each other. Communication is so hard for both of these two. Luckily Ushio can read kei like a book.
There are some great spicy scenes in this story. I also feel like Kei isn't as caustic. He still has real thoughts , but they are tempered and he treat Ushio a little better. I love that they simply need to be close to the other. They can work and have the other in the background and they are fine. It sounds wonderful.

This is a Japanese somewhat modern fantasy. A student has left home for university. He gets lost and ends up in front of a mansion with a strange man in front of it. He looks foreign, but he's Japanese. The man offers him a place to live while he is in school. They get to know one another.
The man is a fox demon. He's not evil or seducing. He's simply living in Tokyo. It's interesting. They make a huge deal about this one tower that's the skyscraper in the city. It's 12 stories. I mean, even in New York at the time, I think the Empire state building was built, so 12 stories being the tallest building around is interesting.
I enjoyed the pacing and the style and the characters of the story. I was drawn in. I felt the time period was somewhat romantic and I really liked this story. It resonated with me. I guess I enjoy the simpler more straight forward romance at times....more
