This story starts with the FMC Becca running into her ex Ty. they had recently broke up because Ty refused to tell his parents that they were dating. Ty was hiding something but Becca did not know what it was. The lies caused them to break up. This book is a lot spicier than the 1st book in the series, which I liked. This book took me on a whirlwind of emotions but in the end their relationship came full circle and I loved that. It was spicy, full of emotion, and also full of secrets and lies. I received This book as an arc in exchange for my honest review. I would definitely recommend this book and series to others ....more

I think it would be beneficial as a reader to have a little more of a back story on the characters before diving but not completely necessary. This story is about a missing persons case and how being involved in something like that can affect a person. I have personally never read anything quite like this and enjoyed reading it. Well written. ...more

I received this book as an arc, in exchange for my honest review. Let me just begin my saying, Devon Atwood out did herself with this one! Talk about a grumpy sunshine story. The characters in this book are perfectly written. I freaking loved June, her awkwardness was so relatable. The banter between June and Dr. Brady was comical. I caught myself laughing out loud more than once. Now , Dr. Brady- wow, hot stuff. Who doesn’t love a hot brooding doc? This book was spicy. It had just the right amount of spice , it didn’t take away from the storyline. And to top it off there was the added element of mystery! The craziness that she threw in with the enchanted mural painting. I was not prepared for that level of crazy, but I love it! It keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The only part that even disappointed at all was the ending. Holy cliffhanger, I hope this just means there’s more to come! Five stars from me! This is a must read!...more

The two of them meet on a cruise ship at a night club. Rebecca is ready for a one night stand with a hottie and Andrew isn't as keen on being there but they end up meeting anyway. The next day, Rebecca is surprised to find that Andrew is her dads BOSS! Could you even image ?!? Anyway, the storyline is great and keeps you hooked from the start. Egan does a fantastic job developing the characters throughout the book. The build up of their relationship is slow though and I found myself wishing they would just "get together" already. I loved the book though and I thought it had the perfect amount of plot and spicy. I was intrigues the whole time. Definitely worth the read in my opinion. ...more
