Audiobook/ read beautifully by Penelope Winton. I found this short book delightful. I could relate to Maureen’s “standoffishness” and having lived in Audiobook/ read beautifully by Penelope Winton. I found this short book delightful. I could relate to Maureen’s “standoffishness” and having lived in England for four years, could visualize places, recognize phrases, pronunciations and various other “bits” that made the English culture so dear to me.
The two books that lead up to this one were also enjoyed and I thoroughly enjoyed Maureen’s story which concluded to the trilogy. I look forward to reading other books by Ms Joyce. ...more

I especially enjoyed these!
