In this charming book the contrast between yesterday and 'today' are explained with engaging illustrations featuring the family pets. This was an enjoyable take on these difficult days.
As a side note, while these days are past now, this book remains as an explanation of the difficult times brought on by the pandemic. I would use this story to illustrate just how much life changed in that single year.

Autumn is my favorite time of year. Finding a picture book which celebrates that is always a good thing. Finding one that's tender and funny and makes you stop to enjoy all the things you love best about fall, is a treasure.
This is the book I wish I'd had to read to my kids when they were small. You'll want to especially read it on a day when you're going to be raking the yard because the end of the book is going to give you a plan for how to spend your afternoon. Seriously. Because this is exactly what I want to do right now.
So, thank you Goodreads for the free copy to review. I now have this book added to my Amazon wishlist. I would recommend anyone reading this review do the same.

We have the story of Livy who finds a strange creature named Bob at her Grandmother's house. It seems she'd left Bob there when she'd gone home from a visit from when she was very small.
Bob is a story about the origins of things, and the things we leave behind. intriguing and strange, you follow along with no idea where the story is going, making this an unexpected treat. By the end of the book, I was rather in love with Bob and this book both.
