The magic in this story is gorgeous and I really enjoyed this read.
The characters were easy to relate to, there was effort made to ensure that the sisters had different personalities which complemented each other so well.
I found the pacing of this book to be just right and it was a quick read for me.
Definitely a great read for this time of year...more

Harry and Steph are in many ways, a completely unlikely couple but somehow they just work so well together and bring out the best for each other. You know when a couple just find each other at exactly the right time for each other, despite not thinking the other is what they want- this is Harry and Steph.
The characters on their own were relatable, likeable and so human but when you put them together it was just so much better.
I think the story flowed well, was well written and moved at exactly the right pace.
Such a wonderful book
Thank you @legend_press for sharing a copy of this book with me

ThMy reading of this book was good - for most of the book I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and was rooting for them to get together. There are definitely some slightly cheesy moments but I could embrace them in the spirit of a good romance.
I think the friends to lovers was written well, yes it was predictable but I believed in it so I didn’t care.
The thing I didn’t enjoy was the third act break up. Miscommunication was to blame which is never my favourite thing and this break up got dragged out for an unnecessarily long time; I wanted them to just get themselves sorted and realise they were meant to be together.
All in all, this was well written - just could have done with some work around the ending I think...more
This book really packed a punch despite being fairly short. I couldn’t believe this was a debut novel - it was so well written and thought through.

This is honest and deals with some really tough issues in an open and frank way. This made the characters so much more relatable and I enjoyed reading their story.
Sometimes I like a book that challenges me and makes me think and this book definitely achieved that.

The last thing Evie wants is to spend time with a group of strangers looking for love. But she can't resist the chance to finally visit her family’s native home.
I thought this was a sweet read. I liked the diversity of the main characters and that the wasn’t a Eurocentric read but instead included some different cultures which was interesting.
The descriptions of the locations are beautiful and I could really picture where events were happening.
The couple were sweet and nice to read about although I didn’t feel particularly invested in them.

This was such a sweet second chance romance, I loved that these two characters had gone off to live their own lives and when they came back together it was a case of right person at the right time.
I was genuinely invested in the characters and their romance and just found it such an optimistic and hopeful read

I didn’t enjoy this book. I felt like the plot was something I’ve read a hundred times before and it’s been better executed elsewhere. The main character was annoying and just a bit whiny, the love interest did nothing for me. I think I needed to see more depth to both characters to be able to care about them and the romance between them.
The pacing felt off to me, we moved through days really quickly without really getting to know anything about these two and their lives beyond a superficial level.
I can see this book would be popular with some people and just because it wasn’t for me doesn’t mean it’s a bad book. I will be passing it on to other members of my family who I am confident will like it but honestly I just felt bored reading it

The character arcs are brilliant - my favourite characters were Lucy and Iris. I feel like throughout the book, we got to know Lucy so well and I really enjoyed this aspect of the story.
In places I found this book too long and I think it could have benefited from being a bit shorter. I think this along with the slow pacing of the story meant that I found it a bit hard to get into to begin with although this definitely improved as a read on.
This is a book filled with plot twists and as a reader I could never get too comfortable in thinking I had things figured out but this kept it interesting...more

I was a little apprehensive going into this book- I always have this going into the final part of a much loved trilogy; what if it doesn’t end how I want it to? What if it’s not as good as the other books?
I definitely didn’t need to worry, this book was just as good as the others and it was such a fitting end to the series.
The writing in this book is just beautiful - atmospheric, powerful and I couldn’t help but be sucked into this world. I could feel the cold as I was reading it.
The characters in this book are wonderful, I loved that we got the Queens POV in this one.
Ryon has my whole heart.
Nothing will prepare you for the plot twist in this book - so be warned!
This is just such a wonderful end to the series, the stakes are high, the twists are twisty and it broke my heart into several pieces

I loved this book - the atmospheric vibes are spot on and have made me long for winter.
The characters are brilliantly written. Jolie is a great main character and Jax is the perfect morally grey hero I like to read about. Their relationship is gorgeous (albeit slightly stalkery at times) and I was absolutely routine for them.
L R Friedman has such a gift in creating books I just devour and this was no exception - I could not put it down.
Ive decided not enough books include ballet and now I’m on a mission to find some more.
I have to say that the autism representation in here is one of the the best I have read. I was so impressed and think it was handled so well.

I think this was another well written book by this author and it shows the range of his writing. Previous books I have read by him were horrors whereas this was more of a thriller but I still really enjoyed it.
There is a real authenticity to this author’s writing and characterisation; he doesn’t create characters to make people love them but he creates real people, in all their dysfunctional glory.
The storyline of this book is a good one, there’s a powerful message behind it and it had an impact on the reader but it works.
