I could not stop laughing through The Charmed Life and A Katie Parker Production series. But "There You'll Find Me" is a whole other level of writing. I could not put this book down. I was so immersed in Finley's life and her next steps. I felt her journey was so organic in its heartbreak and each part of that journey was so fulfilling. I could even over look the too perfect wrapping up of things (because let's be honest - this is fiction and you're allowed to write perfect endings). Jenny B. Jones really spoke to the struggle and pain of loss and feeling apart from God. ...more

Over all, a great concept. I love how the new is incorporated with the old - I was a little worried about this when I heard about the new series. Piper and Jason took a little to warm up to me, mostly because Percybeth are just awesome & none can compare. I love Leo though! He is the epitome of a Riordan character. As always, the humor & incorporation of mythology into modern day life was superbly done. It only got four of five because it dragged a little and I'm hoping each book in the series improves!...more

Christian fiction can be really corny and mediocre at times but there are a few gems that I have enjoyed! I love all the green tips that Maya shares after each chapter/journal entry. I even began posting some of them on Facebook =) I just may go looking for the other books in the series. You don't need to read them in order though, unless you're very strict about that yourself lol...more

At least, not after a day or two =)
The summary gave away some of the novel. I've noticed that some things just come easy for Higgins' main characters. They might have a funny mishap here or there but for the most part...they get everything they want! It's a tad unrealistic. For example, I love how she delves into the stalkerish nature of women....but hated the "success" Millie had from doing so. I don't think that ever really happens. At least not until a girl can let go....at least, that's my experience!
Still, by the end of the novel, my heart broke and leapt and cried with the best of them!...more
