He has plans for his country's oil, and is looking for someone that will help and aid his country. Lily Harkness, is a CEO and businesswoman, she gets the job done, and has dealt with many arrogant men, but she isn't ready for this commanding sheikh who rattles her. Lily has desires that she hides even from herself, she has a dangerous past that she wouldn't dare reveal to anyone, but Isma'il shows her desire and a seduction so deep he takes control of her heart and soul...but will she be able to do the same with this Shekih that exudes power and command...
Never Seduce A Sheikh is a contemporary romance, and deals with quite a bit of some darker issues that if you are looking for a light read, this isn't it. It has some darker elements that really suck the reader in and make you think about certain issues. In the beginning of the story, its all about business and transactions and agreements, the Shekih shows Lily that there is more to life than a contract. Lily is fully invested in gaining this oil agreement, so she doesn't see the bond forming between them until she can't resist him. Both Lily and Isma'il have dark pasts, but in this erotic romance, we see them share every dark secret, and there is quite a power in this story that draws you in. This story is a shorter read, so you will just breeze through it the moment you get into it, which for me happened very quickly and I just couldn't get enough. The characters are very vividly written and the author does a splendid job in portraying them in a way that captures you. And even though I am not a huge fan of erotica, I like more romance in the story, however in this one, I felt like there was quite a bit of intensity in the romance department, and how this story is all about overcoming and facing the past to embrace the love they share. A enthralling read to take hold of you and not let go!! A CAPTIVATING LOVE STORY!!

So this was a blast of a read. I really had so much fun returning to this couple and getting an extended epilogue. This novella is just more of a story with the short epilogue that we received at the end of "Extreme Exposure" and this story is basically about our hero and heroine who are engaged and go into a bet of who can cave to sexual pressure before the wedding day. But this doesn't turn out to be a fun bet as either of them imagined that it would be. It ends up putting some harm into their relationship, and soon they will have to dig deep into why they took the bet in the first place and was it worth their love or hurting each other in the process.
This novella was charming. I love those extended epilogue type of novellas that we get that get more depth in a event and really enjoyed seeing our couple overcome the conflict that they were faced with and realize the truth of what was going on for them. If you enjoyed the first book with our couple, than I highly recommend this one here which will charm and delight ....give you some laugh out loud moments and some smexy swoon moments to remember.

Play My Game is a novel part of the Stark saga and this book is part of the extended epilogue series that is done by this author to give us more insights into this couple after they have received their HEA. In Play My Game, its coming up on their anniversary on Valentines Day (those who have read this couple know how important this day is to them specifically) and Damien Stark, is wanting to do something special for his wife Nikki, and embarks on a challenge for her, a bit of a game, where she has to discover clues to get to the special gift he has for her. This is especially delightful to read if you have loved these books and especially this couple. And it does have some connections to the Stark International series as we do have a moment of running into Jackson.
I absolutely had such a BALL OF FUN with Damien and Nikki again. It was truly so wonderful to get back to this couple. so much so I am debating doing a re read of them lol They are most definitely one of my favorite couples for contemporary. Seeing them all in love with each other and just embracing the domestic lifestyle was beyond endearing. It kept me with a smile on my face and with a bit of mystery as they are being blackmailed.
Overall I had a blast with this novella and returning to this wonderful world that captured my heart years ago!

Take was such a fun quick read and exactly what I needed. This is what I like about Anna Hackett, when I need to get through a book quickly, she truly delivers. And I saw this cover and I was intrigued. From the moment that I started reading this one, I was completely hooked. I loved their meet cute and even though this was last in a series, I didn't experience an issue on it. It only made me intrigued to read the other siblings books. This is a story that sucks you in pretty quickly. This has a good blend of elements to it that just seemed to really work for me. I really adored the way that this story built and the combination of tropes that is implemented. We see some great bonds of family between the brothers and I truly adored seeing that within this story. Our hero is a protective warrior, he runs a security service and when our heroine finds herself in danger, he helps protect her from enemies that want to take away her work and project. Reath was so delightful and I loved how firm he was with Frankie. She is a bit obsessive with her science stuff though, I just wanted to tell her to chill out lol You life is kinda in danger, maybe act the part. But if you love STEM heroines, than she is definitely one for you.
Overall I had a fun time with Heath and Frankie and can't wait to explore of this series here. ...more

After having fallen in love with the first book and the other connecting series to this series, I knew I couldn't wait for more from this MC and this setting of the shop. And you know I didn't even read the blurb once I received this copy from NetGalley and this author is one of those that I don't need to, I just know I will enjoy the ride that she will take me on.
In Custom Made, our heroine is a bi sexual character, Cameron Davis. Cam is an artist and after spending a short time in prison due to ill spent mistakes of her youth, she starts over in a new town and working in a motorcycle custom shop and using her artistic talent to create beautiful works of art in motorcycles. When she goes out clubbing with a group of girl friends, she meets a man that works all her engines in all the best ways, and thinking she would never see him again, even though she wants to she is shocked to learn that he is THE Orion Stenton. A man with wealth, power in all the corners of the city. And that man is the one she spent her one night stand with, but also the man that hurt her. Orion knows he made a mistake with Cam in hurting her but is determined to prove to her his feelings for her are genuine in every way.
I adored Custom Made in many respects but I will say that this isn't my favorite read from this author. I was slightly disappointed in this one here. I just didn't feel the chemistry between these two for much of the book and considering the elements that come into play here, I was really excited to see it and the romance just fell a bit flat for me. But that isn't to say that I didn't enjoy this one here at all because I can tell you I greatly enjoy this edition of this series and curious to see where this author plans on taking this series. But it was still an easy quick read that I got swept up in. I adore both characters individually, I just didn't connect to the "spark" I normally have come to expect from this author.

Introduction Passion and Ink was a story that I eagerly wanted to jump into as I had just fallen so hard for the first book in the series and also just adored this family. I will be honest in this though that this book didn't quite click for me as book one did. I think part of it was that this book wasn't in audio. Sometimes having a book in audio just makes all of the difference ya know? And I just wasn't as invested in this couple as I wanted to be and even though I love forbidden taboo romance this one just didn't feel as intense as the previous book.
Summary Basically our hero and heroine, first meet, at a bar and have a sensual sexy night together and the steam is really powerful between these two. But what they don't expect is to meet each other at a family dinner where they realize that they are step siblings but even though there isn't any blood related between them, its socially taboo for them to even be together. But also the heroine's dad has blackmailed her into forbidding her from being together with him or all the money she needs for her mother's medical bills will be taken away. But despite the fact that their relationship is forbidden, they keep it under wraps and in secret. They both have to learn to fight for each other and only then will they be able to believe in what they have together...
My Outlook I absolutely had a fun time with this. Forbidden love is actually one of my favorite tropes to read in romance and I really feel like Naima Simone really handles these aspects so well. And while these aspects were done very well, my heart just wasn't in the story. I am not sure if it was just my mood or what, but I just didn't feel connected to this couple as I did with the first couple. She does powerful steam and I have come to really enjoy how she handles chemistry and I would say that this book is borderline erotic romance, as there is quite a bit of high steam being focused in the story. So I do think these are scenes you don't really want to skip out on though. And the level of forbidden themes that are introduces was so well done. And I didn't mind the step sibling aspect as they weren't ever truly raised as siblings together and the heroine left for almost a decade. But it was quite interesting in seeing how the heroine was the one not wanting to be open about her feelings for this one. Its also fascinating when the hero is more open with himself than the heroine but you understand why she is the way she is. My heart just broke for these two. And I really don't like the parents, I will be honest. It doesn't matter how much they apologize, they really tend to manipulate their children emotionally and that is abusive so I don't know if I will ever get behind these. I am wanting more books for this couple but not sure if the author plans on writing more for this couple. Would love to see her return to this series though because I LOVE these siblings.
Overall View Passion and Ink was a captivating read and I absolutely had a blast with these two here. It was so fascinating seeing them come together and learning to fight for their love....truly endearing!

Take My Dare follows after the "Steal My Heart" Novella, they are adjusting to their son being almost a year old, and living within their happy ending and learning to be a family and find time for themselves as a couple. I absolutely adored the masquerade party and the hero making a game out of it for them. It had such a sexy feel to it. But then we also get a good plot with someone trying to blackmail Sylvia and how they respond to this threat and what teamwork is implemented as they work together and I just loved the unity that they have together. This is one of the aspects to this couple which makes them such a power couple. And we do get a fun scene with all the Stark couples coming together and man I am so tempted to reread these books lol but I am so behind on this author's books, that I need to catch up. This is a shorter book, a novella, but I wouldn't have minded if this one had been full length. ...more

This was such a charming novella and its free on J.Kenner's website. I loved getting this glimpse into Jackson and Sylvia. They were so charming to get back to and I had forgotten how much I loved these two together. There is something so fun about the Stark world that this author has created. I really loved the way that this book developed and we also see such fascinating blend of heart and emotion. This novella is mostly surrounding Sylvia being pregnant, and some struggles they have as a family with some complications happening there. It had so much heart and deep emotion and if you love getting these HEA glimpses that give you all the feels, then I highly recommend it. ...more

First Impressions There With You is the second book in the Adair Family series and after loving the first book I was more than ready to get this book read and I am so happy that I finally picked it up. I had some reservations concerning this heroine, as I didn’t receive the best impression of her in the first book. But from the first chapter, I knew that this book would work for me and yeah I was right on that because this book was everything that I could have hoped for and more.. I don’t know what it is about this series that just works for me, but they are becoming some of my favorites of this authors work and she has some great past work I have loved dearly. I really was intrigued by the heroine though, and she definitely isn’t a character you expect and she has more depth and layers to her personality than you would expect. This is a boss/employee relationship and it definitely worked for me, I felt like it was written really well and their relationship isn’t rushed and you definitely get plenty of development for it to work and not feel off for the reader and plus we have some adorable kids that just added a lightness to the story that offered balance.
Summary Regan Penhaligo, is on the run after having to avoid a stalker and almost rapist who has formed a weird obsession with her. She has avoided her sister long enough, and she travels to Scotland to find her and repair the damage that she has caused to their relationship. When she arrives in Scotland, she gets a less than warm welcome, which she knows that she deserves. But then she meets Thane, her future brother-in-law’s brother who is a widow with two young children and is on the hunt for a nanny. Regan spent years as a nanny and she connects with the children just perfectly and she begins her new job as the many to Thane’s children. Regan and Thane begin a journey together, that will benefit the children. But as they spend more time together, there is more than slowly grows between Regan and Thane, something they both try to avoid to maintain a professional relationship, but they know what is between them is special and not one to be taken lightly. Even though they know their families will frown down on a relationship between them, they build in secret even knowing how forbidden it is, but as they build a trust between them, their pasts will come to haunt them, and will they be able to survive the coming tide of danger and drama that is heading their way and will their love be strong enough or will it break under the pressure?
What I Loved There were so many elements I really loved about this book. The first is the humor, the way that the heroine gets dropped into Scotland and can’t understand the heavy accents (which I found hilarious she didn’t even know the meaning of “ken”), and then we have the light nature of joy that the two children really bring to the story was so precious, (And YES I love kids in romance especially when they are written well and doesn’t take away from the romance), then we have the beautiful scenery and culture of Scotland that is so beautifully captured. Its not surprise as the author is originally from Scotland. Then we have the forbidden romance between Thane and Regan which I LOVED this. I love a forbidden love, and knowing that their relationship was heading into something more just really worked. It didn’t feel iffy or weird or wrong at all, because you see how much they fight to maintain that professionalism but that what they have towards each other is mutual and they make sure the kids come first and are the priority and I really liked seeing that. They definitely have some hills of struggle to work through as trying to work through the forbidden aspects of their relationships isn’t easy at all and they both have struggles they need to overcome. I really felt like the suspense element wasn’t as strong as I was expecting it to be but when it does build into the story and happen, it definitely had me on edge. This story had me in my feels and I just couldn’t put it down and as it’s a 12-hour audiobook and I listened to it in ONE day should tell you how much I was hooked on this one.
What I Struggled With There was only one issue I really had with this story that kept it from a full five-star which is the element of the hero and the way in which he pushes away Regan. Her mother is a piece of work and Thane really is cruel pushing her away toward the end of the story I really didn’t like how he let her mother have him push Regan out of his life and his children’s life so completely without thinking it through and letting the shame override what he knew in his heart.
The Narration The narrator for this book and this series has been doing such a tremendous job in capturing the perfect feel of the book and portraying it so well to the reader. She also has such a beautiful voice and really handles the accents very well and she is just right in capturing the right personalities for the characters.
Overall View There With You is a majestic contemporary romance with a hint of suspense in the beautiful lands of Scotland that captures the beauty and essence of the land and culture, builds a beautiful emotional forbidden love, and a story bound to keep you all over your emotions and leave you satisfied in the end!

I really had a fun time with this one. I don't think K.Webster can write a bad book haha this one was quite different from anything I have read from her until now. And I liked that it was short sexy and sweet. It had a very balanced dynamic and literally had me going from laughing to crying all in one page. It had a cool setup. I just love auction themes, not sure why, but they draw me in like candy. I loved the second chance, the emotional trauma and pain that they need to work through and the smexy moments that just fit this pair's dynamic. I really love that Webster writes such a variety and you never know what you can expect until you read it. And I can't wait to read more of these short ones. ...more

This I saw as the adapted film by Pasionflix and I was really impressed with it here. There is a great deal of deep emotion that is portrayed, we see some powerful chemistry and is one of the better adaptations that Passionflix has done to date. It was the least cheese that I have seen from them and very authentic in the emotion. It had a high quality to how the story was portrayed. I think fans of the story will be very impressed with how well it was adapted. I can see why this one is such a fan favorite for romance readers. I really had a good time with Seducing Lauren. It wasn't as good as the first book, the pacing in the book was on and off. The first half started off really really strong and I didn't want to put it down. But in the second half, it was much more challenging to stay into the story and be truly invested. I did love the idea of a lawyer hero with a romance author for a heroine who is also at risk of being in danger from her ex. I found the dynamic between them interesting, loved their soft filled relationship. I do find Proby's writing style in how the pair doesn't fight too long what they feel, but seem to embrace their connection. I did find the plot aspect of the ex and how its portrayed throughout the story. I loved the endearing connection that they had together. Really beautifully done despite the issues on the pacing of the story growth. ...more

I found this one so intriguing and it was more of a random pick up read for me. I was just browsing KU and found this delightful read. I was intrigued by the setup so I knew that I wanted try it out. I will say that this book was pretty likeable and if you have read this author before, then you will know her writing style. This author has a writing style that is pretty easy to get into (Similar to Anna Zaires, Meghan March), but this book starts out so SLOW. It takes a while almost 25% before our couple even meets each other. Once they do meet each other, it was a fun wild ride. I really had a blast. It has some great alpha vibes and I liked the whole stripper/actor pairing. It really worked really well. I did find the pacing of the story a bit off, but the audio narration was pretty decent as well. The ending of the story was my favorite part of the story. It literally left me in swoony tears, so heartfelt. One of my favorite proposals ever done.
Overall it was a endearing read that was a great distraction from reality. ...more

All Of Me is the finale novella for Chris and Sara. This is where we see them escape back to Paris after escaping the media coverage from the trial and this is also where Chris past's come back to haunt them in ways that they didn't expect and planning their wedding and learning to heal connections together.
I really had a fun place with this one here. It was so great to see Chris and Sara really have such a strong relationship and what has been building in the previous books. We also see the happy ending of Mark and seeing him find peace and healing after everything that happened to him due to Rebecca. We see some fun tiimes with Chris and Sara planning their wedding, and I really enjoyed some of the conflicts that we see develop in this story. I would say that this book is an in between a novella and a novel. I really loved what we got from this one and I am really sad to know that their story is over now. I might read some of the novellas in the series, but I doubt I will read the Rebecca novellas as we all know what happens to her and that is just too sad to read knowing the end result for her.
Overall I had a blast with All of Me and eager to dig into the other books connected to this series here!...more

So I did want to make this review a bit shorter, so I don't reveal too much in this one as I do think more mystery is better around these books than not. So we pick up where we left off from the end of book three, where they are leaving France and having to come back to the states as the legal case involving murder of Rebecca and the attack on Sara to be resolved. There are many puzzles missing in this mystery, and with how they are being questioned by law enforcement, both Sara and Chris are really struggling. And there is a battle happening with Mark and his own journey. We will see a glimpse into Mark's torment and even though eventually I do want to read his book, I am not exactly wanting to rush into it either. This story was quite fascinating because we are seeing how Chris and Sara are best tested in ways that neither of them expected to be and we also see how they both experience unique challenges but are learning to lean on each other instead of other ways that aren't as healthy to their relationship.
I am not sure what it is about this author, but most of what I read from her is so all consuming and it definitely is the case with this series. I am so in love with Chris and Sara and seeing their story slowly come to a end was a bit sad but also ready to read more of the connecting books to theirs. I was impressed with the finale in their journey, at least a full length novel of their finale (there is still a novella to read to finish them off completely)
