I wanted to love this book. The premise sounded totally up my alley -- two people who knew each other from Jewish summer camp meet up again as adults,I wanted to love this book. The premise sounded totally up my alley -- two people who knew each other from Jewish summer camp meet up again as adults, setting up an enemies-to-lovers plotline. And yet, I just did not enjoy it. Something about the writing style never gelled for me. I often found myself going back and rereading sentences or paragraphs that didn't make sense the first time around. On top of that, I couldn't relate to the characters or their relationship. I powered through to the end, but as a whole, the reading experience really fell flat....more
