It teaches a lot more than I thought it would. My kid asked me why a boy will like a dress and I could explain to her that one can like whatever they want. It's not gender specific. Such a strong message in such a fun way.

Sometimes we are so focused on the comfort of our walls that we do not think to step outside and enjoy other things that are beautiful. We miss on so many things that we should find time to admire.
In a very subtle way, far, far away tells kids how to do just that. It might be difficult but it's worth it.

This story is kind and cheerful. My kid loved it and I feel it's going to be here favourite for a long time. Which is a great thing coz you know how kids change their favourite so often. Perfect way to teach kids to be kind and compassionate.

Bob the boo boo was a good book, especially when it is so difficult to make kids understand what injuries mean. This will help parents when they want their kids to know more about boo boo. That it's normal to fall sometime and get a boo boo.

This book made me so emotional. I cried and felt broken in a good way. In a healing way. I wished I had such book in my childhood to deal with the losses I suffered. The losses that will always be there no matter what I do. But when someone helps us while grieving it can be a journey worth experiencing.
Such a good book for kids to understand how loss and grief are parts of life.
Definitely going to get this one for kid once she grows up enough to understand it....more

Curious me feelings was a good book but I feel it could have been better. I have one of the other feelings book which shows emotions side by side so it is easier to see the difference especially with opposite feelings like happy and sad. Even my kid when asked said that she liked the other book better.
Still it's a good book for teaching young kids about their emotions....more

It was nice reading this book but I feel that the rhymes should be more catchy and easier with words that are in daily usage for kids to enjoy it more and remember them. That is my personal experience from my kid's overall interest in the book.
It is a good read . New rhymes so more fun....more

Just as I requested it and saw I got approved, I downloaded and read it. Sadly my kid is sleeping at this late hour or else she would have enjoyed it too.
I'm sure she will become a huge fan just like her mumma did.

I saw the books in the series at a local bookstore and I was totally intrigued. This is an interactive way to teach kids about science things. But I think it will be better for kids after 4 years or up. My kid is 2.5 and it didn't keep her engaged as the pictures couldn't convey the message that was written. She mostly enjoys the pictures and colours and if there's a story through pictures she can understand it herself.
So I will recommend it to kids who can actually understand it and enjoy it too....more

I read it and then I asked my husband to read it with our daughter. They both looked so adorable reading together especially a dad daughter book.
Mostly it is I who read books with her and she enjoys it. My husband doesn't get much time so he mostly plays with her. This was one of the rare moments when they both sat together and read the book. I felt so emotional.
So here I'm writing this review, all teary eyed and emotional wreck thanks to Netgalley and familius and Zack Bush. Thank you very much for the precious moment with all my heart.
World of rot takes us on a journey of decomposition, one that is of almost importance especially given that we are facing issues with plastic. PlasticWorld of rot takes us on a journey of decomposition, one that is of almost importance especially given that we are facing issues with plastic. Plastic is everywhere, and by design, it’s made to last decades, if not hundreds of years. It’s incredibly useful, but it’s bad in terms of the waste created. Plastics can take anywhere from 20 to 500 years to decompose, depending on the material and structure.
So this book I feel is very important to teach younger kids. Only thing that I wish is it should be a bit young reader friendly. I know we are talking about decomposition here but there were parts where I, an adult, who reads dark and gory stuff was revolted. Please don't read this book while eating, a grave mistake I made. But that's totally on me and not the book.
The knowledge provided in the book is in simplest way possible. I personally felt the colors used were too vibrant, sometimes even harsh to the eyes. Maybe in print it will be different but on my Netgalley shelf app, they definitely looked too much. Apart from that, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book.
I will even recommend adding this book and such other books as a part of curriculum.

Because my daughter is much alike Becks, highly spirited and energetic. It is so hard for her to sit at one place for longer duration. I don't feel that it is bad thing as such but sometimes I'm too tired to deal with all that energy.
The book like this help her be sitted at one place and enjoy some quiet time. When we read together, she kind of realised that she and Becks are alike and that's why she too loved this story more than the other two in the series

Another lesson that this book teaches is that knowledge is a treasure that will grow from sharing , not locking down.

Now alphabet by heart is about feelings and emotions and thoughts and it felt great to read as I could make my kid understand what they meant - emotions. Because it might be overwhelming to make kids understand all kind of feelings that one can feel.

And I felt so sad but happy while reading this book. The colorful illustration are beautiful and subtle. The story is long for young readers but will be good for older kids especially I have seen that kids are crazy about dogs, no exceptions.
