Characters I loved Tyler, he was so honest, open, and perceptive. And I loved Joel, too. The story is told from Tyler’s viewpoint, in first person, and of course his view is biased, but Joel is such a complex and fascinating character.
Immaculate and controlled businessman by day, wild, uninhibited beast at night.

Writing Style Impressive.
Erotica Exquisite and glorious.

Ending HEA.
Pet peeves Only one (‘baby’). But this book was so amazing that I’m willing to overlook it.

His best friend, Andrew, is always there for him, following him around to see his every performance. Andrew is straight, or so Philip thinks, but he falls for his best friend anyway. Philip kisses Andrew one night, and not waiting for any reaction, assuming that it was a mistake, he runs away.
Andrew begins to avoid him, not returning Philip’s calls. Philip assumes (again) that he ruined their friendship and he is devastated. Four weeks later Andrew appears and admits his feelings for Philip and they live happily ever after.
The story is told from Philip’s viewpoint, so we don’t really know what Andrew is feeling. Only that he needed time, that’s why he ignored Philip for four weeks.
The conflict comes from non-communication, and I hate that. The ending is hasty and far from satisfying.

"I always wondered when it could come to this – when I would be totally without – just a bunch of cells floating around in an unseeing universe. But perhaps this is what I have been waiting for all along – to finally reach the bottom."

He is insanely attracted to this enigmatic, green-haired boy, and incredibly disturbed by the fact that he is attracted to him. But Tork sees through Adam like glass.
"He is adorable, this guy – such a brat. Charming and arrogant and spoilt and I want to kiss away his stupid words until I get the real Adam. I know he likes me too, and that he hates it and cannot understand it."
[image] It’s a wonderful story. I loved how complex Tork was: vulnerable yet such a strong personality. He puts Adam in his place in no time – it is priceless, btw - but not in a demeaning way. They come from totally different background still they are equal in their relationship – well, it’s not a relationship yet, but when they are together, when they interact, it is so fluent and dazzling.

They were her Triune. Shit.
I liked it much more than book 1.
Harrison’s character is nicely portrayed: her kindness, her weariness from family pressure and the expectations of the magical community, her fears and insecurities in her magic, and her strength to stand up for herself.
Jacob and Ric already function as a duet before they met Harrison. They strongly disagree with Jacob’s mother’s ambitious plan, namely to bond with that “snooty fucking royal bitch”, Harrison. There are lots of prejudices from Jacob and Ric towards Harrison, and vice versa.
She had no desire to be at Triune. No desire to become a trophy wife to two Magian peacocks. Two men who loved each other, and wanted no part of her but her name and her magic.
As in Wicked Sexy, I enjoyed the magic in this story, too. It is really exceptional: wide variation of innate magical abilities, learned spells, and charmed objects such as dresses, or jewelry, a self-cleaning room, enchanted makeup, and a shower massage that gets a new meaning with personalized pampering avatars formed of steam and water.
But – maybe because of the shortness of the story – the romance is not developed. I felt it forced by lust again, similarly to book one, Wicked Sexy. Jacob’s family mystery was also very short cut.
The erotica is really delicious, and in this regard Wicked Bad is pretty impressive.
Harrison was in shock. No wonder. No wonder true triad matches spoke with such reverence about their joinings. She hadn’t even truly consummated hers and already she knew she was forever altered. Changed. It was terrifying.

Forced to take a break but having no money, he visits the local summer fair to have some fun. He doesn’t expect to meet anyone significant there, let alone a vampire fortune-teller who wants to change Micah’s life.

Omar offers to keep Micah company for the night, and as the night progresses, even more. But Micah never thought he would be desirable, and he thinks he has nothing to offer.
"I c-can’t. I h-have work on Saturday.” Landlords to evade, dreams to bury.
But Omar finds him special and from a 241-year old vampire it really means something.
Fang and Fortune is a quick, and though too fairytale-y, an enjoyable read.

It was mainly sex: no plot, no romance development. Their relationship is based on sex. Repetitive, cheap-porn-like sex. They become addictive to each other. I love stories with lots of sex scenes, but (most of the time) I also want deep and palpable emotions.
The story is told from dual, third person viewpoint. This ‘thing’ between them seems unhealthy. There is a quite big age gap, but mainly their behavior what makes the relationship unbalanced. The ‘master’ thing is thrown in the story but never developed.
How could he explain when it barely made sense in his own head? He wanted to be owned without being shackled. He craved to be used without being punished. He needed a master, but he needed to feel free. He would lie down at his man’s feet if he could be sure he wouldn’t get stepped on.
Christoffer keeps calling Adam ‘a boy.’ The word ‘boy’ appears more than 70 times, the term ‘his boy’ 19 times, and there are many times ‘his dream boy’, ‘my boy’, ‘my/his sweet beautiful boy’, ‘my good sweet boy’, ‘his beloved boy.’ Oh, and there are 34 ‘young man’ and 21 ‘big man.’
I don’t mind the age gap, but the heavy emphasis on it never let me forget it. Even in the last line:
“You’ll stay?” “Yeah,” his boy breathed, and Christoffer tightened his hold on him.

Harry’s an auror, investigating a possible terror-attack on an All-Beings-friendly music festival. Draco’s a bounty hunter, hired by the Auror Department to find and help Harry.
The political circumstances depicted here reflects to contemporary issues.
“Can you imagine this festival turning into a riot? Even if no one dies, it’d be conclusive proof that the Beings can’t coexist peacefully. The goblin talks will end. The centaurs will retreat back in the woods, out of sight. Every progress the elves have made will be rendered irrelevant.”

The festival atmosphere was nicely done, really captivating. Mutual pining for each other, for years.
A ravishing getting-together story, with a deep and smart suspense storyline. ...more

Harry is minding Neville’s flower shop while Neville is away on a trip. Draco appears at the shop one day, and every day after that.
Malfoy looked as expensively dressed, aggressively hair-styled, and disdainfully bored as he always did.
Loved the getting to know each other part, loved the conflict, loved the tiny, amazing details.
‘You’re doing a lot for your family,’ Harry said. ‘Like back when— Back then. You did a lot for their sake. And you’re still doing it.’ Malfoy said, ‘So did you, Potter. You defeated a Dark wizard for what he did to your family. How is it any different to what I’m doing?’ ‘You’re giving up your life,’ Harry insisted. Malfoy actually laughed at this. ‘So did you.’
A lovely getting-together story. Highly recommended. [image]...more

Now he is back, trying to save his father’s sewing factory, where Gary works as operations manager.
Gary tries to keep his distance, but with no avail. Sparks fly, costumes are designed, factory is saved, and they live happily ever after.

Ribbons and Frills is a lovely second chance story. Ashley and Gary are so hot and sweet together. The only problem with the story is that it’s too short, and the end is wrapped up only in a couple of short sentences. I’ll definitely read more from the authors.

On the first look, it may look like it’s about their newly discovered kink, but it’s much more than that. There is a conflict, solidly connected to their past, tender domesticity, and also a great portrayal of their feelings for each other. Actually, this story is about love. Interestingly and unusually structured narrative, too.
