The Light Keepers (Shadow Light .5) by Mande Matthews ****4 Stars (PR) Astrid is isolated with her mother and their protector Balin. She needs to learn to sing protections from the Shadow to protect herself. This is a struggle when she has never been able to utter a sound and she is drawn to the Shadowalk. One night she gives away their location and they must flee...Isla and Balin to safety and Astrid to the boy she knows as her protector. This was a quick read with a lot of story. I liked the characters even though I felt Isla was a bit harsh at times. I am very interested in continuing the series.
2. Crush by Chrissy Peebles *1 Star (PR) Taylor moves to California and runs into the supernatural. Like literally, everywhere. Unbelievable situations, unreasonable reactions...This just didn't have a good story, or good characters, or good dialogue.
3. Seventh Mark (Part 1) by W.J. May ***3 Stars (PR) So this wasn't great, Rouge befriends Grace and Michael and it quickly becomes blatantly clear that strange things are going on. You get little tidbits but no real information. This was a quick read and didn't really have a cliff hanger so much as this is literally the first part of the story. I think I may continue this series.
4. Resounding Truth (Resounding 2.5) by Kate Thomas ***3 Stars After reading this I think it rates more 2 Stars but I rounded up to 3 because it was fairly interesting and kept my attention. So we are told how strong Dru is and she might e the leader if something happens to Derik...but when it actually came to a fight she couldn't take him. Caleb is this crazy strong alpha that also has feelings...but when push came to shove he gave up very quickly. And I felt the thing with the vampires came out of nowhere and I kinda just finished it cuz I was so close to the end. Maybe if I had read any other books in this series I would have liked it more with some background.
5. The Girl Chameleon by Karin De Havin *1DNF Star 'oh you're name is Jennifer, you must be named after Jennifer Aniston"...Or because Jennifer is a ridiculously common name. Just a nauseating firs meeting between Jenn and Brooklyn, and since I already was thinking about quitting, I decided to not finish.
6. Betrothal: Queen's Honor (1) by Mande Matthews Not Rated I'm not going to rate this one because I have no interest in reading it. I have never enjoyed the story of Guinevere and Lancelot nor have I found it the least bit romantic. I got 2 chapters into this and decided it was not worth the frustration I knew I would feel later.
7. Eternal Vows by Chrissy Peebles ***3 Stars(PR) Sarah finds herself in a different world, literally when she is searching for her missing sister. She runs into an incredibly handsome and charming king that seems like he is a jerk but they have some steamy chemistry. I was really enjoying this and then Sarah inexplicable became too stupid to live...but thankfully the book ended with a cliffhanger at that point.
8. Courage Runs Red by W.J. May **2 Stars Kallie's father was somehow turned into a vampire on the same night thye were in a bad car accident. Her family had ben keeping her fathers condition a secret since then. Liam steps in the picture knowing a lot more than Kalli but in a precarious position if he wants to help her. Then there's Caleb who is also a vampire and knows a lot and is also fallowing Kalli around. This book was all tell, kind of like an outline. I would have liked to have read about feelings developing and information being learned that dictated actions. It just didn't work for me.

4. Rae of Hope by W.J. May *1 Star (PR) Rae goes to some crazy boarding school where you get tattoos and powers from them. There are people that hate her because of things that her father did. It was an ok idea for a story but I just hated the characters and everything they did. They all seemed to have odd priorities and morals. And a lot of the dialogue was just awkward.
5. Captured by Erica Stevens ***3 Stars (PR) I have some mixed feelings here...I read this book very quickly because I was really into it and couldn't wait to see what happened next. I liked that it was written from both POV's, I thought it added to the tension between Braith and Aria. I thought 99% of it was awesome and pretty original considering the mass amount of vampire stories I read. But the end kinda threw me for a loop...I felt that their actual feelings took some time to develop and though they were wary of one another there was a certain amount of trust. But when they finally accept their feelings and supposedly become closer than ever their feelings are swayed drastically at the drop of a hat and I guess I just didn't buy it.
6. Decieved by L.A. Starkey **2 Stars a great idea but things just took forever to develop...to the point not much really happened in this installment. It also seemed like everyone was a main character...Sam, Marcus, Nick, their uncles, Zeus, Prometheus, Ken, Julie. So much going on that I couldn't really get into any of it.
7. Blur by Kristen Middleton **2 Stars (PR) Ok this was like a cross between twilight and the lost boys....which in theory sounds pretty good, but this was just so rushed. Characters were hardly developed, there was so much insta-love my head was spinning and a lot of the dialogue was pretty juvenile considering all of the adult situations.
8. Enchanted Secrets by Kristen Middleton *1 Star (PR) Fairly fascinating plot but choppy writing, rushed scenes, and extremely uninteresting characters.
9. Vampire in Denial by Dale Mayer ***3 Stars (PR) I liked Tessa's character overall, as a teenager who is kind of an outcast (especially in her own mind) she is pretty relatable. My biggest issue was with the second half of the book. I thought that things moved a little too quickly and it was kind of hard to follow where everyone was, who was with who. And I wish there was a more discernible bad guy. But I did enjoy it and will probably read the next in the series.
10. Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer ***3 Stars (PR) Samantha is a psychic has visions of murders...but she is inside the body and mind of those being murdered...She wakes up with physical injuries that are similar to the victims. Brandt is tracking a serial killer and isn't opposed to unconventional ways of getting information, but Sam's abilities are disturbing even to him. As they get closer to finding the killer he also starts to figure out how the police are getting their evidence which puts Sam in danger. I liked the story, I liked the characters, the writing style was ok....but it just kinda dragged in the middle.
11. Nine Lives by Karin DeHavin *1DNF Star I quit this a few chapters in. Just a little too much forced quirkiness.
Bonus 1. Zombie Chronicles by Chrissy Peebles *1DNF Star (PR) I didn't finish this one but I gave it one star because I did enjoy the very beginning right as the outbreak was happening. But then it lost me.
Bonus 2. Zombie Games by Kristen Middleton *1DNF Star By the 3rd chapter every character who had been introduced was a complete stereotype and had no real personality to make them stand out. I don't even want to bother with this one. ...more

5 - Kindred by Erica Stevens ***3 Stars (Previously Read) The story wasn't completely terrible but it was repetitive. Every time Cassie and Devon saw each other it seemed like it was the same scene over and over. Thought for some reason, I think I liked it better this time around.
6 - Awakened by Brenda K. Davies ***3 Stars I didn't particularly like Sera or Kathleen and I thought the ending was a little too quick, neat and tidy. But overall it was an ok story.
7 - Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer ***3 Stars I liked the story, I liked the characters, the writing style was ok....but it just kinda dragged in the middle.

9 - The Core by Kate Thomas **2 Stars The first few chapters were very endearing but then everything from the characters to the writing just started to irk me and I couldn't wait for it to end.
10 - Enchanted Secrets by Kristen Middleton *1 Star (Previously Read) Fairly fascinating plot but choppy writing, rushed scenes, and extremely uninteresting characters.
11 - Captured by Erica Stevens ***3 Stars (Previously Read) I still really enjoyed it and I still had the same problem "when they finally accept their feelings and supposedly become closer than ever, their feelings are swayed drastically at the drop of a hat and I guess I just didn't buy it"

13 - Ravenous by Erica Stevens ***3 Stars This was ok. It started of strong and then steadily lost steam. I thought there was a lot of repetition, especially inside Bethany's head. And besides a few attacks you didn't really get a feel for the aliens and what the heck is going on overall.
14 - The Zombie Chronicles by Chrissy Peebles *1 Star I didn't finish this one but I gave it one star because I did enjoy the very beginning right as the outbreak was happening. But then it lost me.

Overall I did not like most of these stories, but I did find a couple of new authors..
The Reaper & the Cop (Liberty, Oakwood #1) by Mina Carter ****4 Overall I did not like most of these stories, but I did find a couple of new authors..
The Reaper & the Cop (Liberty, Oakwood #1) by Mina Carter ****4 Stars Short, sexy and fun. Laney is a Reaper, Troy is a cop...they come across each other and the sparks fly. But as Troy's small town seems to have an over abundance of supernatural activity, Laney can't help but wonder what the heck is going on. There could have been a tad more detail, just to fill in the story a little but that's really my only complaint.
Her Dragon to Slay (Dragon Guards #1) by Julia Mills *1 Star The dialogue in this was just unbearable....between the main characters as well as between Rayne and his men.
Darkness Unleashed (Order of the Blade #7) by Stephanie Rowe **2 Stars It is fine for a young person to say "I will never trust anyone again" or "all people (men in particular) are the same" but for adults to act that way is just annoying. So Catherine was near unbearable towards the middle of this story.
Spark by PM Biede DNF*1 Star It was kind of a nice idea to break up his letter into chapters but I honestly just couldn't get into the characters...at all.
Remote Paranoia (PBI Case Files #5) by Jami Brumfield *1 DNF Star Frankie was such a bitch that I literally stopped reading the chapter she was introduced.
Dark Love by Claudy Conn *1 Star Good idea, but very poorly executed.
Frippe House by Eden Elsworth *1 DNF Star This took so long to develop that I couldn't bring myself to care when things actually started happening.
A Love for Somnus by Nicole Garcia *1 DNF Star The writing style was just not for me and the dialogue was unbearably awkward.
Let Him Reign (An Underworld Romance) by Lane Hart *1 DNF Star Yet another that I struggled through. It was just so absurd and just when you thought it couldn't get more ridiculous...it really goes over the top.
Bound by Fire by Tracey Jane Jackson **2 Stars About halfway through this was well on it's way to becoming 4 stars...but then it just wouldn't end.
Conjuring Darkness by Melanie James * 1 DNF Star I just couldn't get into this one. The characters were so annoying and the story was not very interesting through 17 chapters so I gave up.
Chasing Magic by Gina D. Lutz **2 Stars This was an ok read there was just too much stuffed into such a short story. Witches, warlocks, werewolves, faeries, imps, dragons...sheesh. A little less would have gone a long way for me.
Strange Magic (Part 1 & 2) by Michelle Mankin ***3 Stars This was a strange mix of a ghost story, mythology and some black magic thrown in. I thought it definitely had an original feel to it but the writing was just not for me.
You Lucky Witch by Marie Mason ****4 Stars A very quick read, not a ton of background or development but it was entertaining, sweet and sexy.
The Witch, The Wolf & The Vampire by AK Michaels **2 Stars If this was half as long I would have liked it a lot more. scenes just got repetitive after a while.
Vampire Next Door by Angela Snyder *1 Star Very slow moving and boring.
Exquisite Breath of Darkness (Breath of Darkness #3) by Candice Stauffer ****4 Stars Though this is third in a series I felt it was mostly easy to follow. I liked that we got little snippets of the drama the other characters were going through as well. Joseph and Mia were a great pair!
Change by Melissa Stevens *1 DNF Star The writing was really choppy and I couldn't get past the fact that the wolf shifters were called kitsunes.
Bite Thy Neighbor *1 Star This seemed more like the outline for a story than an actual finished piece.
Shifter In Training *1 DNF Star Just things happening, there was no real flow to the story. ...more
Elsker by S.T. Bende ****4 Stars Kristia is a girl from a small town who studies abroad in England to have an adventure. She finds that adventure in UElsker by S.T. Bende ****4 Stars Kristia is a girl from a small town who studies abroad in England to have an adventure. She finds that adventure in Ull, who is a Norse god on vacation so to speak. They meet, fall in love and have to figure out how to be together while stopping the world from ending.
I Bring the Fire by C. Gockel ****4 Stars (Previously Read) Loki is very jaded in this book but it backs up his attitude with cutaway stories from his past. Amy, is pretty sure everything that's happening is real even if it is insane...and despite her best efforts she feels for Loki and does want to help him.
Chosen by Christine Pope **2 Stars This started of well, it was interesting and different...but then it slowed and it seemed like we didn't get any answers at all until the end and by then things became really rushed.
Dead Radiance by T.G. Ayer ***3 Stars (Previously Read) There were just a few times that things didn't flow so well, and I wanted a little bit more information about things which led me to give the 3 Stars. But I do look forward to continuing this series.
The Gatekeeper's Sons by Eva Pohler **2 Stars (Previously Read) I think my issue is that I feel like 15 years old is still a child and so the fact that Hypnos and Thanotos were all about Therese just creeped me out.
Nolander by Becca Mills ***3 Stars I'm a little torn on this one. I did enjoy it overall but I'm sure I don't understand everything that went on.
Twin Souls by DelSheree Gladden ***3 Stars (Previously Read) There was nothing I particularly disliked about this book but I just didn't love it. The characters, story and writing were just ok.
Blood Debt by Nancy Straight **2 Stars (Previously Read) I just didn't like Camille very much. I didn't think her attitude was consistent enough which made most of her choices and actions very annoying.
The Forgotten Ones by Laura Howard ***3 Stars (Previously Read) I feel like there was a lot of rushed information so it was a little hard to follow....like who is who and who hates who and so on.
Marked (Soul Guardians #1) by Kim Richardson *1 Star DNF This was a pretty interesting idea but I just didn't think it was very good.
Relentless by Karen Lynch *****5 Stars There were a few times that I felt the story didn't tie together perfectly and maybe there was a little too much going on but I loved it anyway.
Beyond the Veil by Pippa DaCosta **2 Stars This was alright, I just couldn't get into it.
Book 14: Taking the Reins (Rosewoods #1)by Katrina Abbott ***3 Stars A few too many things going on at times but a fun read.
Book 13: Behind the Stars Book 14: Taking the Reins (Rosewoods #1)by Katrina Abbott ***3 Stars A few too many things going on at times but a fun read.
Book 13: Behind the Stars by Leigh Talbert Moore ***3 Stars This was well on it's way to 4 Stars but I can't stand when people act like the don't have a care in the world when 5 minutes before they knew they were in imminent danger.
Book 12: Something About Love by Elana Johnson ***3 Stars This was kinda cute, and written in a way that the story flowed really well.
Book 11: Introductions by CL Stone **2 Stars I guess I didn't really get this one. There was enough intrigue to keep me reading though.
Book 10: The Faerie Prince by Rachel Morgan ****4 Stars I really enjoyed this one. The only problem I have really is people keeping really important information to themselves.
Book 9: Sketchy Love by Lila Felix ***3.5 Stars This was pretty cute but ended quite abruptly.
Book 8: Through Glass Novella Sreries (#9) by Rebecca Ethington *1 Star Being so far along in this series I just had no idea what was going on and couldn't really follow it.
Book 7: The Soul's Agent by Wendy Knight ***3 Stars This was a very interesting concept but it was really long. And I wouldn't have minded the length so much if I got more information about the characters, the Agents, the history...anything but Alec and Bryson being ridiculously over the top in love with Navi.
Book 6: Of Ice & Snow (Fairy Queens .5)by Amber Argyle *1 Star DNF I struggled through 5 chapters, this just isn't for me.
Book 5: Paxton Private Investigations by Juli Alexander ***3 Stars This was pretty good, the characters were fun, the story interesting...maybe a few too many issues all around but an enjoyable read.
Book 4: Counter Clockwise (#5 in a series) by Elle Strauss DNF Not really a bad story, I'm just not into time travel.
Book 3: Witness by Christine Kersey *1 Star I finished this book but I just kept waiting for something interesting to happen. Girl witnesses a murder, the killer being the guy she just went on a date on, turns out he is part of a gang, now the gang is after her...sounds pretty exciting, but it was really really boring.
Book 2: The Dark Moth Society by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars A retelling of Alice in Wonderland where Alice is a half demon warrior waiting to face her demon sire on her 21st birthday. This was quirky, different and interesting. My biggest problem was that it ended rather abruptly.
Book 1: Kate Unmasked by Cindy M. Hogan *1 Star DNF this one. All of the characters were just really over dramatized and really annoying. ...more
Destined (Vampire Awakenings 2) by Brenda K. Davies *1 Star I previously read the first in this series and thought it was ok, could be better...and I Destined (Vampire Awakenings 2) by Brenda K. Davies *1 Star I previously read the first in this series and thought it was ok, could be better...and I was hoping that this would take a step forward but, it did not. Isabelle was one of the most annoying characters I've ever read.
Damon (The Protectors) by Teresa Gabelman ***3 Stars This was a cute, quick read. The sparks fly immediately between Nicole and Damon but they both fight it for their own reasons. And their denial of their feelings for each other and the lack of communication does get to the point of ridiculous toward the end. But overall the story was very fun and I enjoyed all of the characters.
The Summoner's Tale (Knights of Black Swan 3) by Victoria Danann *1DNF Star This definitely suffered in my opinion from not having read the previous 2 books. It seems to be a pretty complicated storyline with a lot of characters and starting with the 3rd book just didn't work.
Luca's Magic Embrace by Kym Grasso *1 DNF Star Luca and Samantha were awful and I couldn't read about them past 5 chapters. Even the sexy parts weren't very sexy because of how annoying I found them.
Into The Darkness by K.F. Breene (Parts 1&2) *1 Star So there was a lot of rape and attempted rape scenes in this book. The fact that the characters have their brains warped to first enjoy it and then to forget it does not make things better. And the fact that Sasha is not really perturbed by this happening is pretty disturbing....but I guess she has better things to do, like follow Stefan around.
Honeymoon Bite by Sharon Hamilton *1 DNF Star Bleh everything was just bad, the story, the characters....I forced myself through 10 chapters and gave up.
Midnight Captive (Bonded by Blood 2) by Arial Burnz *1 DNF Star This was just meh. I think it definitely suffered from being the second in a series as part of an anthology. That being said it didn't make me want to start from the beginning.
The Nightlife San Antonio by Travis Luedke *1 DNF Star Another that I just couldn't get into. I really didn't like the characters (after 5 chapters) or the set up of the story at that point so I didn't feel the need to continue.
Blood & Snow by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars This was just a tad over the top but it wasn't long, moved quickly and it kinda worked.
Revenant in Training by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars Snow is turning into a vampire to potentially become the new host for the vampire queen. The quirky next door professor used to be a Hunter and has promised that he and his seven sons will protect here. All the while she is attracted to her dream Hunter Christopher.
The Vampire Christopher by RaShelle Workman **2 Stars Snow needs to start training to defend herself but she is too busy flirting with her Hunter. And all the while she seems totally ok with knowing nothing about anything. Also a scarf with an Ed Hardy T-shirt?!? I couldn't concentrate after that visual. And just the fact that she decides to keep everything to herself instead of letting the people who are helping her know... Very annoying.
Blood Soaked Promises by RaShelle Workman **2 Stars SO her Hunter disappears, her father and step mother make a random appearance, her best friend is a witch...and then she has a complete meltdown and does the equivalent of sticking her fingers in her ears and singing really loudly.
Prey and Magic by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars Snow has another breakdown when she thinks she kills one of her friends. She runs away and turns herself over to her darker side for a few weeks and is pulled out of it by the Vampire Queen.
Masquerade's Moon by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars Despite all of the danger they still have Snows birthday party. It is of course interrupted by Gabe's jerk dad and the vampire queen. Snow tries to fight back and ends up tapping into even more power.
Seal of Gabriel by RaShelle Workman ****4 Stars Snow is in a coma following her fight with Oberon. She overhears bits of conversations as her family and friends visit her. But she also finds herself linked with Silindra, the vampire queen who created the Seal of Gabriel.
1. Guardians: The Girl by Lola St. Vil *1 Star Ok Emmy was ridiculously annoying. Marcus was way too worried about his love life when he is on an end 1. Guardians: The Girl by Lola St. Vil *1 Star Ok Emmy was ridiculously annoying. Marcus was way too worried about his love life when he is on an end of the world mission. Mimi is made out to be this cold person who's only concern is the mission, but if that were the case she wouldn't be all crazy jealous all the time. Miku was ok, Jay and Reese were ok but they're slang talk was way over the top. Rio was actually pretty awesome and the book should have revolved around him. But it didn't and I just wasn't a fan of this one.
2. Whispers in Autumn by Trisha Leigh **2 Stars I was pretty into this until the last five chapters or so. Althea and Lucas are different from the rest of the human population, they have feelings...which is forbidden by the Others, the alien race in charge of earth at the moment. They also discover they have some cool but frightening powers, which may be the reason the Others seem to have taken a direct interest in them. But the ending just completely disappointed.
3. Brightest Kind of Darkness by P.T. Michelle ****4 Stars This had a bit of final destination mixed in a ya romance. There were a few things that were just silly but overall the story was good and the characters were likeable.
4. Lark by Erica Cope ***3 Stars I really enjoyed reading this book. Mia was a fun character and I enjoyed her inner monologues and I thought the story overall was pretty good. I don't like that she randomly did some very stupid things that were so obviously going to go horribly wrong, but I suppose they did move the story along.
5. Feyland: The Dark Realm by Anthea Sharp *DNF Star I read the prequel to this book and was not impressed and this gave me the same feeling. I just didn't like the writing style, I didn't love the story, I didn't like that the boy she finds to help her is named Tam Lin (idk why, I just found it obnoxious for some reason), I especially didn't like that anytime Marny was mentioned she was described as fat or the big girl...as if that was the sole thing that defined her. I decided to quit about 10 chapters in...just not for me.
6. Witches Finish First by Terah Edun *1 DNF Star I got 2 chapters into this...the story itself seemed kind of interesting but there were so many typos I couldn't really be sure. But the worst was the first scene with our main character Katherine...some guy she supposedly is in love with puts his arms around her while she's drunk...then in her head she gives us a history of witches, Fae and humans. Ok that's a little odd but fine...except for the fact that she makes comments about some of her thoughts, seemingly out loud while having this "romantic embrace" It just bothered me to the point that I decided to stop reading.
7. Pentimento by Cameron Jace ***3 Stars I actually really liked this. The Pentimento thing was a bit too abstract for me but I liked the concept, and I liked the characters.
8. Beautiful Demons by Sara Cannon ****4 Stars Harper is an orphan with strange powers that have forced her from many foster homes. She ends up at Shadowford in the town of Peachville, and it's not long before she notices some strange things. The town seems to be run by some strong women who also seem to be like Harper. When Harper becomes one of the popular crowd she enjoys it but things also seems off to her...if only she could remember. ...more

On a routine assignment she accidentally reveals herself to a human, who then turns out to be more than he seems. Oh and some very mean looking Faerie's are after Violet for her ability of being able to find people...I really liked this one, there's interesting characters, mystery, suspense, and romance.
Book 2 - The Withering Palace by Alexia Purdy ****4 Stars I really liked this Novella. Aveta is an Unseelie Princess that has to ignore the desires of her own heart to fulfill her destiny.
Book 3 - Dark Promise by Julia Crane & Talia Jager ****4 Stars I really enjoyed reading this, I thought the story was fun and relatively fast paced. Rylie annoyed me but I tried to remember that she was 16 and girls that age can be a bit bitchy.
Book 4 - Feyland: The First Adventure by Anthea Sharp **2 Stars This was ok but didn't really entice me enough to read the series.
Book 5 - Blood Farie by India Drummond ****4 Stars This was pretty good. It got right to the point and didn't drag things out...but maybe some parts were a little too rushed. For instance I'm not totally sure I understand all the powers and affinity's and season stuff they went on about. But, I did get the gist of it and was able to follow along.
Book 6 - Hood & Fae by Tara Maya ***3 Stars Roxy finds out she is a descendent of red riding hood and needs to continue her legacy of slaying werewolves and other dark beings. This was pretty different and fun. My biggest problem was that everyone was very short with Roxy for not knowing anything...but no one ever bothered to share any information with her.
Book 7 - The Dark Fae by Terry Spear ****4 Stars Alicia can see the Fae, and she really doesn't want them to know that. Just her luck, Prince Deveron discovers she can see his true form and becomes quite interested in her. Alicia then gets tangled up in Fae court politics and a search for who she really is.
Book 8 - Ehriad by Jenna Elizabeth Johnson **2 Stars This was ok, a little too much information without good explanations. It was hard to get into.
Book 9 - Once (Gypsy Fairy Tale) by Dana Michelle Burnett ****4 Stars I loved this. Harmony's life kinda sucks right now, her grandmother just died and she is now running the failing feed store on her own. Soon, a carnival of Irish Traveler's comes to town and she is well distracted from her troubles by one in particular. She finds out their secret of being a part of an ancient race and she has to figure out what she wants her future to hold. It was quick but was paced well and didn't feel rushed. I felt Harmony was a believable character and Kieran was a great mix of gentleman and bad boy.
Book 10 - Fae Horse (A Faery Tale) by Anthea Sharp *** 3 Stars Short heartbreaking story about giving up yourself for the sake of the one you love....more

Book 1 - Rae of Hope DNF Just couldn't get into the over the top bitchiness of every female in this book. Just not for me.
Book 2 - Seventh Mark Part 1 ***3 Stars This was a quick read and didn't really have a cliff hanger so much as this is literally the first part of the story. I think I may continue this series.
Bok 3 - Shadow of Doubt DNF Another that I had trouble getting into.
Book 4 - Padium Hales **2 Stars A group of friends develops super senses after being trapped in a storm....more
Duality by Elle Casey - (1 Star) This one just didn't flow very well and at times it was unclear who's point of view I was reading. The main character Duality by Elle Casey - (1 Star) This one just didn't flow very well and at times it was unclear who's point of view I was reading. The main characters were pretty boring and their friends were over the top ridiculous.
Three Wishes by Julii Alexander - (4 Stars) I enjoyed this almost as much as I disliked the first one. I thought Jenny was a great main character with normal thoughts and flaws despite the fact that she's a genie. I liked the world here too, I just wish that a few more things were explained in detail.
Atlantis Riptide by Allie Burton - (1 Star) Pearl was very annoying and Chase was childish and manipulative.
Lash by L.G. Castillo - (1 Star) I was pretty into this one until Lash ran into an "old friend" and Naomi turned into a petulant child. I just completely lost interest.
The Emerald Talisman by Brenda Pandos - (3 Stars) This one was just ok. The main character was painfully self absorbed and not very bright. But some parts of the story were interesting enough to make me want know what happened at the end.
Static by Tawny Stokes - (3 Stars) This one was pretty good. I like the idea of the incubi/succubi being in a band and tying in Merlin was a fun twist. I suppose I would have liked to have gotten deeper into that story.
First Exposure by Elisabeth Naughton - 1 Star Avery goes to a couples sex vacation with old flame turned security agent Cade to find out what happened First Exposure by Elisabeth Naughton - 1 Star Avery goes to a couples sex vacation with old flame turned security agent Cade to find out what happened to her assistant...Avery and Cade just annoyed me so i couldn't get into it.
First Rapture by Alexandra Ivy - 3 Stars Madison returns to Vegas to exact revenge on the guy who humiliated her but finds she still harbors feelings for him...This was a pretty good read but Madison was ridiculous, so he was a jerk, get over it.
First Taste of Darkness by Cynthia Eden - 4 Stars Jess gets more than she bargains for when she enters the dangerous world of former jewel thief Blake Landon...I thought this was suspenseful, sexy and entertaining
First Ink by Laura Wright - 2 Stars Addison wants to make things right with her former boyfriend Rush...This story wasn't bed but I found the sex scenes to be kind of awkward.
First Surrender by Katie Reus - 1 Star An attempt on Sierra's life finally gives Hayden the push to confess his feelings, but he also needs to keep her safe...I just didn't feel their connection and the language of the sex scenes seemed unnatural.
First Temptation by Joan Swan - 1 Star Agent Zoe Brooks goes undercover with the sexy Taft Walker...Taft was a complete tool bag that only consented to work with Zoe when he saw that she was hot, he didn't seem to have much respect for her at all....more
