I really loved this book and it is a great book to have for the Christmas period and to bring out each year.
It is a great book for children and my daughter was really interested to find out more about how the counties in the book celebrate. This could be from special foods being made and eaten to different crafts being made for the tree or windows.
There are 24 different crafts in the book so plenty to do. We loved the illustrations too - they worked brilliantly with the book too and help you learn more about the different traditions around the world, there are easy to follow step by step guides too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!...more

The pictures were bold and clear and I, personally enjoy colouring to help me feel better when I am stressed so I can see how this would help most people, me included.
There are a great set of fun and relaxing pictures for both adults and kids, there is a good mix. There are fun images, proper illustrations and an abstract mix of patterns, there is a little bit for everyone in the book and it is great to find this kind of book that covers kids too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended...more

This book was lovely – I loved the bright sharp images, they almost made my mouth water. The recipes were easy to follow and I have a couple I will be attempting that looks very nice!
There is a good mix of starters, mains and deserts plus a few good sauces to make, along with cocktail recipes if you are interested in those too (I skipped that section as I don’t drink).
It is 5 stars from me for this one – definitely a book for the kitchen shelf to keep at hand! ...more
I loved this story!! It was a gripping thriller and I was completely addicted to the storyline!!
I thought that the story was very well written, I loved the pace and the author really brought the pages to life for me. I read the book in an evening and the hours just flew by, I was hooked from the start and it was a superb way to spend an evening – who needs TV when you find an author who can entertain you so much with their written words – I am a complete bookworm but finding books like this remind me how much I love reading!!
This is the fourth book in the series and I think it would read fine as a stand-alone too.
No hesitation at all, it is 5 stars from me for this one, it was a delight to read and I think that this series is getting better and better as the series progresses too – this is definitely one that I will be recommending!!...more

This is quite different from the books that I would normally read on a regular basis but I found it to be a refreshing change. I do enjoy non fiction books and I liked the description of this book as soon as I saw it so I was really keen to get started on it.
The book is honest, funny and brilliantly written - the recipes are nice and easy to follow and I thought that the whole concept was a great idea - and I'm definitely pleased that the author chose to put his words and thoughts down on paper to share with us!
It is always hard I feel to give a rating to a book that is non fiction but having read this one I couldn't give it anything other than 5 stars - really would recommend this one for anyone who loves Italy, anyone who loves cooking and anyone who loves a good read!...more
