Pentecost (Arkane, #1)

If you like the DaVinci Code/Dan Brown, I think you'd like Pentacost. Penn created an interesting myth that felt like it really could have happened with the Pentacost Stones. I liked her characters and it is action packed. It was clear that she had done her research and that she had likely been to many of the settings in the book b/c she had fabulous detail.
The only negative for me was that at times there was an awful lot of exposition and "telling" not "showing." In her next works I'd like to see her weave her wonderful details in more rather than just tell them. But for me the sheer fun of the story and the fast-paced telling made me keep flipping pages. I'm looking forward to her next book and definitely count this as one of the best Indies I've read.
