I read the first two volumes from my library. Clean art style -- the eponymous hero is a high school lad who draws (professional) girl's manga, hijinks ensue. Nozaki looks very much like Domeki from xxxHolic, and is amusingly focused on his work, to the frustration of the girl who fancies him.

Interesting format -- each entry or unit of the story is a single page divided into four rectangles placed vertically, read from top to bottom, like a Japanese version of a four-panel daily comic read left to right. So the sense of story arc takes a while to build.

I believe there is an anime, which I may try to hunt up.

Rita The anime is called Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun and is only one season so far, but it's delightful. A lot of fun. :)

Jonny.Collins The four panel (4-koma in Japanese) style is typically used for non-plot intensive gag-ish joke strips, very similar to newspaper comics.
