When I was younger I was fascinated by conjoined twins. I learned all there is to know about the different types of conjoined twins, they filled me with so much wonder.
Both of my friends who are typically nonreaders have read and loved this book, which made me all the more want to pick it up.
The way this book was written in free verse is one of the reasons it brought out emotion with it. Before I'd never heard of free verse
And I
Think it only
Works
With rather emotional
Books.
Which this was.
I will say though, that I found that it could have been much more impactful if it had been longer. That way we'd be with the characters longer and care for them more.
If you're looking for a quick, inspiring, "different" book, read this one.
