I am being being generous giving this book one star. It is so badly written I just can't understand how readers are highly rating it. I actually got really annoyed while reading it, that the author just didn't seem to make an effort with her prose. Has she ever heard of an adjective??? The story itself could have been so good in more capable hands. There's just no excuse for lazy, bad writing. How the publishers accepted the finished product is beyond me. If you enjoy a good, well written read, keep away from this book. Sorry I spent my hard earned money on it, but it came highly recommended!!!!! Will never listen to hype again.
