I LOVE how vulnerable this is. I love how the poet wasn't afraid to dive into the most sensitive and personal subjects. He spoke of the struggle of being a gay black man in America who happens to be HIV positive and he did it in such a raw and honest way that just broke my heart.
I can't remember the last time a book, let alone a poetry book, has touched me like this.
I'll be thinking about this one for a while.
