The 0.5 is for the premise; it intrigued me until I finished the first chapter. What can I say? The execution was 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓫𝓪𝓭.
Over-the-top is the word I’d use to describe this book, the characters and their actions (I’ve read my share of possessive men, I enjoy them, but this one was one of a kind…completely senseless), the story, the dialogues. I didn’t feel the “romance”, there wasn’t chemistry, even in the sex scenes.
Sorry but this soap-opera writing was a turn off. I don’t know how I finished it, though I have to admit I skipped a few pages at the end.
