This book disappointed me a bit.

I love the cover, I love the concept, I even like the characters quite a bit, but something about it just didn't click for me. I guess it was that the conflicts in the story never felt quite real to me, and they all seemed to be easily solvable (by talking to people)

I also think Rachel's dislike for the popular people was a little too exaggerated to feel realistic. The characters felt too much like high school stereotypes at times.

But the romance was very cute, so I did like that. It's definitely a story worth checking out if you're looking for f/f YA contemporary romance. It has a lot of representation, as neither of the main characters are white.

I just wish I had liked the story a bit more.
