really liked it
Read 2 times. Last read October 15, 2020 to October 17, 2020.

All I can say after reading these "reviews" (and the book's not even due out for a couple of months) is that the fans of this series are as opinionated and mean as the paps and admirers of the HMC families in the books. Sheesh.

10/17/20: I've finished the book so now I can leave a star rating... What a concept - actually reading the book before praising/trashing it with a false star review!

I liked it! It's definitely not an epic yarn, but it's entertaining and fun reading about Jack (who was basically just a side character that I didn't know much about) and nice getting to know more about Oscar.

It's got action, humor, smexy mansmex, and it's always fun when other characters pop into the story.

I'm looking forward to reading the next book!

Bookish Lauren And it's sad how awful they're being. I feel bad for K and B having deal with such vitriol.

Moon Lefleur And the accusation that it's only m/m to please soccer moms? Wtf is that shittles? Those comments are so disgustingly inappropriate and borderline bigoted. If you're not looking forward to the next book in a series, move the hell on to one of the MILLIONS published by other authors. How spiteful do you have to be to take time out to rate and bash something that's not even published yet?!

I SINCERELY hope it doesn't discourage the authors and they keep pushing with their vision

Nelly Someone said it! Thank you!

It seems some people really don't see an issue with spewing needless hate.
How do "fans" profess to enjoy only the pairings they think should happen (for some reason thats reserved for the straight ones) and feel the need to bash work that they haven't even read yet?
Not to mention dictate how these creators should do their work and completely ignore one of the clear core messages in the series.

Friendly piece of advice!
Not feeling the pairing? Don't read the book, no ones forcing you.
Spend your time and money on something you like the sound of. Surely you have better things to do than comment on a book that you don't like the concept of and will never read.

I don't even want to touch too much on the comments about fans of gay romance. As a Queer person can I just say that these people have no idea what they're talking about. Those kinds of opinions are unhelpful and full of spite.

ANYWAY sending positive vibes and love to all the people trying to create something for others to enjoy.
OH and more importantly, if you happen to be a Soccer mum and you're worried about those comments, don't let the haters get to you. Have fun and be proud!

Kay. Bye.

Clyde Wish there were a way give your review five stars.
The irony about much of the m/m hating vitriol is that the first three books in the Like Us series is musically ALL m/m romance. Makes me think that the haters are really just ignorant troll/drones sent here by their evangelical, brain washing, hate mongers..

Nikki There is a unusual amount of venom with the same narrative about middle age soccer mom’s and masturbation. They are just trolls sitting in a room together trying to destroy something they never read. Won’t stop anyone from reading it

Samantha PREACH. that is all. ^I agree with all of you

Tereza Skýpalová Thank you. Glad someone said it.

Stephanie It's a good read. a lot of KBR's books have that over the top drama but this one has a nice pace and the drama is not over the top. I am sadly finding out that some of the fans/non-fans can be very toxic and just plain cruel. So for most her their books I avoid reading the reviews.
