This was just plain sweet. Crawford is a unique character, blunt, inarticulate, mostly oblivious, and secretly romantic, with a streak of integrity a mile wide. The story is his, and you just go along for the ride. You will find yourself reading with an indulgent smile on your face and a deep desire to hug the man. Or shake him. Sometimes both. Funny, quirky and adorable.
