This has a cute plot idea, but I wasn't able to get into it. Chip has a girlfriend but is noticing Bree*. Bree is noticing too many of Chip's muscles. Yeah, I'll pass. No interest in seeing how this book ends.
*(I'd like to comment on the dialogue he had about this: "He had a girlfriend. A terrific, wonderful girlfriend. Yes, this woman [Bree] had stinking green eyes, but he could've noticed that about anymore. It was a perfectly harmless, meaningless observation. Just like he'd notice how nice that green dress looked on her, so very appropriately her color. Good for her. It was hard to find such color-complementary clothing these days."
Ahem. Does this come across as an excuse to anyone else? I'm not wasting my time on this nonsense.)
