This series is such a delight. I have greatly enjoyed every book in The Brown Sisters, and this one is no different. One of the things I love about the series (besides the awesome variety of representation in each book) is how conflict is resolved fairly quickly but also realistically. In this book, we also have two characters who are both on the autism spectrum. It was so interesting to see how these two neurodivergent people related to one another on a different level and was very sweet. Neither one is infantilized by the narrative as well, which was great to see. The one downfall for this series for me is the smut level of the sex scenes. They are always so unexpected for a series that is considered more mainstream and definitely isn't erotica. But the sex scenes can be so over the top in these books. I still highly enjoy this series though and do plan on reading more Talia Hibbert in the future.

Hanna I want to read Eve's book so badly. I agree with you about everything, but especially about the smut level. I usually read just the dialogue, because I'm not a big fan of sex scenes anyway.

Amy Hi Sam I read the first two books on your rec and both were so well written. If not for the smutt they would have gotten 4 stars and up. So I'm protesting and not finishing the series. It was Tailia Hibbert and Helen Hoang who made me seek out clean romance.
