Is there a better scenery for a horror novel than a creepy private museum of taxidermized animals?

Is there a better team than a recently divorced young woman with no means of financial support and who that's why moved to a small room in her Uncle Earl's The Wonder Museum and a middle age gay man, the barista of a coffee shop next door?

Add a mystery portal into a new world they found together by accident and you have a picture.



Caroline and Simon together was fun, and I ALWAYS appreciate a healthy portion of humour, horror or not.
