I was really excited to read this one and I really love the concept, but the pacing was off on this one. I found myself really confused and not very connected to the characters. The first 140 pages are so consumed by Cassie’s Illness, and then it becomes an afterthought. Maybe there will be more answers in book 2? I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in book 2 and I know this was Luna’s debut, so I’m excited to see how she improves in her next installment!
