My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 [3.75/5] very close to a 4 but not quite

If you’re planning to pick this up, please be aware that this is definitely a slow burner. It did drag for me in the middle but the latter half definitely made up for this. I understand the slower pace of the book, to set the scene, to introduce you to each ‘love’ in a way that brings you into their world. I do feel the back story for each was needed but personally think it could have been a lot shorter. I don’t think that would have taken much away from the story but some may argue that the story would not be as effective if cut down.

The synopsis pulled me in and the start of the book also started off great. I went in picturing a womaniser and multiple romances but I was definitely mistaken. This book is so much more than that and I guess it just goes to show how we shouldn’t make assumptions on people’s relationships. Prepare to be pulled into Sebastian’s world and his journey of love. There’s highs and lows and if you’re like me, you’ll be shouting at your kindle when he makes decisions you don’t agree with!
