Memoirs of a Garroter (Nevermore Bookshop Mysteries, #4)

Noooo! Urgh, I hate cliffhangers… but at least the next one is out now!
I have to admit I was winding down with this one. I had just about had enough mysteries and was looking forward to having a break from the series for a book or two.
The book itself was good, the overall mystery was beginning to drag a bit too much for me then *things* happen in this book that make me want to carry on - though I really need a break.
I’m still getting a little annoyed with the Americanisms (situational content mainly) in the book when it’s supposed to be based in the UK and found them a lot more noticeable in this book than the others.
Overall? It’s another good book and is reasonably well written (if you don’t notice the very American bits). Worth a read (or maybe more than one)
