Cahki is a strong woman raised by adoptive parents in a small community in the northern part of the kingdom, an area well known for fair beauties; something the emperor is well known to have a taste for in his concubines.

Unfortunately the Emperors men come to the North and Kidnap Cahki and start a journey back to the Emperor, but these men had no idea who they just kidnapped.

Cahki is strong, and isn't going to go down without a fight. She finds herself in a new port after having escaped her captors only to be captured and put in a different cage.... but who is her savior? None other than the Son of the Emperor, but he has a plan to free her, but wants help saving their kingdom from his father and its going to require she marry him. Cahki is no ones property and assures herself this is just a temporary situation to get her freedom...but can something else bloom in both of their icy frozen hearts while they race to save a Kingdom from a war that will mean so much death and destruction.
