Sure, I'll Join Your Cult: A Memoir of Mental Illness and the Quest to Belong Anywhere

DNF at 25%. Felt very self indulgent, privileged, tries to be meaningful but the very simple humour fails to be anything but annoying albeit occasionally funny. I wanted this to be as special as it seems to promise but it feels random. Not funny, not meaningful on mental health, not even anything but seemingly a series of top of the head comments on her life and family that feel exploitative and flat.
