I've loved all the books of the Mayfair Literary League but Rebecca and Nathanial might be my favorite couple to date. I enjoyed the introduction to Mrs. Rebecca Hatch and her mysterious past in previous books (although this one can be read as a standalone) so it was a total treat to learn more about what she's overcome to build a new life. And although Nathanial seemed like an obstacle to her future and I couldn't see how they would manage to find a way to be together, I loved every word of their love story. He was the perfect gentleman - honorable, handsome and flummoxed as he fell in love. I laughed out loud in several scenes. There was also the tenderness and spicy chemistry I've come to expect from Lana Williams. No spoilers but such a satisfying journey to happily ever after!
